Wolfgang's ear flicked as he caught a distant noise from camp, the young Alpha lifting his head to gaze briefly outside of the den's cavern like opening for a few moments, until he was sure that it was nothing. Still, it was reminder that they would need to return to camp, and soon, preferably before everyone tore each other apart due to the fact they were all going stir crazy. A problem for another hour, a differing area of the day, as far as he was concerned. Turning his attention back to Cortana, he offered a soft smile as she tried the name out on her lips, his tail lifting in a brief wag before curling more firmly about her own, the gentle curve of his horns pricking against the soft flesh of his ears as he pricked them, straining to catch each and every last note of her whimsical voice, not wishing to miss a moment of it, or to be denied the delicacy of a single octave. His hand curled more tightly about her own even while his fingers rubbed smoothly over the back of her own limb, his other arm coming to rest lightly at the small of her back, a slight glimpse of his fangs becoming apparent as he grinned at the question, chuckling a bit at her eagerness to learn more about his own past and history, and that of his family. He had never known it interested her so much, and to see her so eager, to be able to see her at all, really, filled his heart with joy and his being with a calm, inner peace that he had not experience in years. Not since his demon had manifested and made its presence known, a feat that had occured at a very early age, so that he had practically grown up with the issue of keeping control, and had become so accustomed to withdrawing from the world to keep them at arm's length in order to protect them from the darkness, that he had forgotten what it was like to relax, to be with a woman he loved, and to feel the cherished sentiment of his affections returned. "For at least three generations," he murmured quietly, leaning down to kiss the top of her forehead, the mark that had appeared beneath his eye pulsing ever so slightly with the movement, nothing more than a sharp, stabbing lance of pain that arced up behind the delicate orb that was red and black in color, lingering for only a brief moment before it was gone, disappearing from knowledge and mind almost as quickly as it had come. But that was to be expected - Wolfgang always had that problem after giving into his demonic half, particularly when he lost control not once, but twice, in as many days, and he knew that he would live, and that the mark would gradually fade away. Until the next time he lost control, that was. However, with Cortana by his side, he didn't think that would be an issue, and didn't foresee it happening again, at least, not anytime soon, not so long as they were together. And if he had his way, they would always be together - he couldn't bear the thought or stand the notion of having to live another single moment without her. His voice is quiet as he continues, gentle and serene, a rare occurrence for the otherwise gruff young male, full of passion and adoration for the she-wolf he had come to so wholeheartedly love, as was evident by the glittering, lovestruck gaze that lingered in his eyes, each orb a differing tone and hue, a greatly differing contrast in the shades of color, words leaking into the gentle definitions that were Cortana's ears, permitting her to drink him in as he did her, and to honor her desire to hear each and every word, all the little sentiments that were echoed in his verbage without his even trying, and without him even having to voice them. She knew they were there, she could feel them. She could sense them. She knew them, almost as well as she knew him, and as well as she would soon know the Windwalker history. "Our line started with my grandmother, Rain. She was a Field Medic for the original pack, and a genteler, wiser soul we have never known. I believe you would like her - she would most certainly adore you. Though her main duty was to heal, she was quite fierce, and when she believed in something, she stood for it, and wouldn't take no for an answer; though she took quite awhile to find a suitable mate, a male who later proved not to be the man she thought - he turned on and killed her, at one point, while they were visiting his birth pack, as he came from a land far away, by the sea. This male's name was Key, and together, they sired my mother, Anala Windwalker. She became Lead Tracker for our pack for a good time - she returned from Key's birth pack after witnessing the monstrosity her father had become. Anala is...different, and a bit hard to describe. To know her, you would simply have to meet her. She mated to my father, Ice, and so I was born. She and I actually left the pack at the same time, though we decided not to travel together - she needed to deal with losing Ice, and I needed to find my own way in life, as well as come to terms with my demon half. It was shortly after that I met you." He fell quiet then, as Cortana knew the rest, and was as familiar with the subsequent events as he was, and that was what had lead them here to this place, and this time, this blissful moment of moments, and the epitimy of what Wolfgang had never thought he could have: happiness. Yet here he was, and here Cortana had stayed, held so securely within the snug embrace of his arms, cradled against the powerful muscle that was his chest, where she could feel and retain the seconds surrounding each and every beat of his heart. "And here we are," he breathed aloud a moment later, their faces once again so close that their noses were almost touching, the firelight dancing like embers of fireflies about the soft definition of darkness within the room, the blanket covering their nude bodies, skin pressed so close against the other that one could not help but feel the defining spark of attraction, could not keep from picking up on the otherwise unknown sexual tension, faint as it may have been, and most certainly nearly smothered by the gentle aura that was their love, so contrasting to the embittered, angry cloud that was brought upon by their separation and the fear that they would never see one another again, that moment of heart pounding terror where Wolfgang had believed all was lost, and that his precious love, his cherished mate and beloved wife was gone, ripped and stolen from life. But that was then, and this was now, and though they should be getting back to the pack, checking on their members like responsible Alphas after a brief period in which both had been allowed to recuperate from their earlier ordeal and the threat of the invasion and death, the battle that had nearly proven too much, Wolfgang could see no harm in stealing a few precious extra moments with her, in order that he might better display and show her his undying adoration, and his own special love. His lips met her own in first a soft, timid kiss born of gentle compassion, his hand releasing her own to slide up into the tangling depths of her hair, even as his other slid down her back and along her rear, giving it a subtle squeeze of playful nature, indicating a rather....promiscious....return to their evening, if she were up for it, and if Cortana herself were game. Feeling her response, a soft intake of breath at the action, and the eager, yet firm way in which her lips meshed with his own, Wolfgang deepened the kiss, the slow smoldering of their passion gradually increasing with neither realizing just when or how it happened, or, until that moment when Wolfgang flipped them over, placing Cortana firmly on the bed beneath him, just what was going on. And at that point, it was a bit too late, their kisses had grown hungrier, more forceful and desperate, as if neither could get enough of the other, and their responses were becoming more and more erotic. Wolfgang's lips trailed down the tender white flesh of her neck now as she leaned back into the pillow, a soft moan escaping those beautiful lips as one hand found and massaged the tender tissue of her breasts, their bodies entwining with one another in the most passionate throes of their love.

She listened to every word he spoke to her and smiled gently as he spoke of his family. So different from her own. She had wished she had been born into this pack and not the pack she was from. But in the end she knew that it wasn't the pack that was bad... but her uncle who posioned it to his will. Something she knew some day soon she will have to return to the pack and straighten things out as the heiress to the pack. She kissed him back deeply and moaned out when he squeezed her rear. She tilted her head back when he trailed his kisses down her skin and started to massage her brests. She was up for anything and loved being with him and sharing the passionate love they felt for each other.

(I keep losing inspiration for these love scenes where I can't post every day DX I'm so sorry, mind if we time skip again?) Wolfgang knew that her own roots weren't as happey as his own, but then, his life hadn't been a cakewalk either. Of course, he didn't have to live with his father, mother, or uncles beating him and warping the pack to their will, but he had fragile control over his demon in his younger years at best, and as a result, it had ended rather...messily in a few cases when he had lost such control. Still, there was good and bad in both lifetimes, and that was never going to change - life was a harsh mistress, and one needed to experience both sides of it to truly appreciate the better things offered, and the sweet times they had. Even so, Wolfgang could not help but feel a prick of guilt for having a bit of a happier start and familial support where Cortana had not - he knew that was something beyond his control, but it did not matter, he felt as if he should have been there. As if he should have protected her. Now, though, as he kissed his mate and continued their earlier activities, he could not help but begin to drown in the passionate love they shared, moaning softly as her mouth melded to his own and her fingers danced up along his scalp and into his hair, the other hand lightly tracing down the length of his spine and sinking into the powerful muscles of his back, trained and honed from years upon the road, and several more training with his mother to become something of a warrior before that, though he had not mentioned this to Cortana. Not yet, as he had never really taken the rank, merely began his training, and then, midway through, he had left, not having the desire to remain rooted in one place for too long at that younger age and in those wilder days, though since meeting the love of his life, he had mellowed out just a bit, and since the fusing bond between their demons was reunited, it had become quite a bit easier to control his alter ego, and he assumed it had taken a great toll and strain off of Cortana as well, though he could not be certain, he felt sure of it, through the more powerful connection they shared, at least. Though he knew they should return to the pack, he could no more pull himself away from her luxurous body than he could halt the actions they were committing even now, or the surge of desirable lust that distracted the male from a normal thought pattern, his need to show his wife and mate love and affection overpowering and overriding any and every other instinct at that precise moment in time.

it's ok if we timeskip] Cortana held the kiss and deepened the kiss as their passion grew to be unable to stop. After their moment together Cortana was laying on his chest snuggling up to him as she caught her breath. She smiled happily and looked up into his eyes" I love you "he whispered softly.

"I love you too," he whispered back to her, the warmth of his breath tickling her ear as he kissed her softly, his hands placed along her back. He could feel her tail entwined with his own, and nuzzled into her gentle touch, never wishing for it to end. But it must, unfortunately - they had to get back to the pack. It was high past time they go out into the clearing to check up on them, and then there was the fact that they had yet to announce Cortana's mateship to Wolfgang himself, and her resulting position as the female leader of the Wolven known as the VolcanoPack. The sooner they managed such, the better, as it would strengthen their roles and cement their positions, and then there was the idea that Wolfgang would need to go out and check the borders - make sure that the vampires had stayed in their own turf, and hadn't recently had the courage to wander into Wolven lands unchecked. All this and more was what came of being an Alpha, and what he should have expected when he took on the position...it was quite the learning experience, and he had great respect and faith for those who had held the office before him. "Shall we go and greet the pack?" He murmured the question to her, sure she would agree, but figuring he'd ask all the same. The silver haired male only hoped that they might find her some suitable clothes....he wasn't so sure her old ones had survived the intensity of their earlier encounters.

Cortana nodded gently and blushed" yeah we properly should... The pack still needs to know that they got a Alphaness now "she said gently and blushed saying this. She smiled and snuggled close to him. She knew her clothes were trash and until she could get her hands on new ones she would be in her wolf form unless she was in their den.

"That they do," Wolfgang murmured, rising with her from the safety and warmth of the bed. Gently, he set her bare feet down upon the floor, steadying her until she were able to regain her balance. 'Wolf form?" He asked gently, softly, fingers brushing through the pale, golden locks of her hair, admiring the succulent beauty of her skin. He knew that her clothing was ruined - despite the fact that he'd been gentle with it when they first began their activites. But it was older, and Wolfgang understood that it was bound to have happened anyway. She really needed some new ones; perhaps she could borrow some of his? An idea that was quickly dismissed - his were far to large, and the pack didn't need to see her clothed in his garments. They would assume the worst. He kissed her lightly, tenderly, upon the lips before they shifted; he would remain in wolf form with her, he didn't mind, and usually was in this figure anyway. His dark fur contrasted her own greatly, and the great white horns upon his head gave him a rather savage look, especially when coupled with the red of his single orb, alternating with the vibrant mint green of his other, though the mark that revealed his lapse into demonhood was covered by the thick fur of his cheekline. However, those who knew him well knew Wolfgang to be a good soul, a fair soul, and a gentle one where it counted, as well as fiercely protective and loving. He nodded towards the entrance, where the flickering flames still danced with sparkling embers. "Ready, my love?" He asked softly. He would not rush her.

Cortana smiled gently and shifted into her wolf form before stretching some. she smiled gently and rubbed up against him" I am my love lead the way "She said gently. She walked with him and caught Rayla's scent but there was some different scent that was with her. She blinked and picked up the speed a little to go check it out" someone's here with Rayla "She said smoothly she went faster seeing as the unknown males scent was over shadowing Rayla's.

Wolfgang lowered his head to return her loving nuzzle, a soft rumble emanating from his throat, not a purr, as he was a Wolven and not a feline creature, but a caring croon of a snarl all the same. His eyes closed as he returned the affection, the gentle curve of his horn catching an itchy spot behind her ear as he rubbed his cheek along her own, tail waving in a soft wag. He led her from the den, moving in front of her to walk confidently forward, though it was a confidence he didn't really feel himself, as he was still new, and learning the ropes, the dos and the donts of being an Alpha. He slowed his pace, so that his mate and the only female he would ever give his heart too, the only she-wolf he would ever again harness his very essence and soul too, could catch up to him and walk alongside of him. After all, it was only right, as she was his equal. Wolfgang lifted his head, ears pricking as his nose wavered, catching the scent that Cortana had gathered, a soft snarl rippling past his lips, the multitoned hues of his eyes glittering with a bit of anxiety at the new aroma, not liking the fact that it was overpowering the pup's, the younger relation to his mate. A short nod was his only reply, the great male lengthening his stride in order to arrive at the location of the scene in a briefer time, ready to react in a split second.

Cortana smiled and licked his cheek back as he nuzzled his cheek against hers. She was right next to him the whole time and rushed towards the camp with speed.
