Volcano Pack:                 

She sighed"No... You dont need to be sorry... It wasnt your fault Raiden.

Cortana snarled hearing vampires and shook her head some. She glanced over towards Crystal for a moment before looking at Raiden" Rest now... Brook be gentle with him "She said gently" regain your strength Brook will take care of you I promise "She said gently" your safe now "she said gently. 

Brook nodded and tried not to put to much pressure on his wounds while she tried to heal them the best she could. 

Wolfgang had nodded to his mate as she gave him a run down of what happened when he saw a flicker of movement out of the corner of his eye, a red pelt catching his attention. Standing as Cortana did, he lifted his head with a soft growl, then realized who it was. Crystal, the old Alphess of the Pack, before the war, whom had disappeared some time ago. "It's Crystal, the old Alpha Female I told you of earlier," he murmured in his mate's ear, the red, glowing demonic orb glancing at Akiba as he entered with Brook. He assumed this male was the new member that Cortana had spoken of, and if he had performed so admirably with his packmates, Wolfgang had no qualms with him being turned and welcomed to the pack - in fact, Wolfgang would have to speak with him later. It seemed as if an Alpha's job was never done and the list he had of things to do kept growing, as now he had to help Cortana handle the issue of Crystal as well, and keep an eye on the clearing. He noted their apprentice, Konata, and her mentor Aspen were missing, and then there was the fact that Elliot had not returned yet. He recalled Aspen claiming she was taking Konata out to train, but since they had not yet returned, the Alpha male began to worry. His attention was drawn to Raiden, however, when the injured male came in, and with a gruff, "Stay here," to Micheal, the massive wolf that seemed as if he should have been a Dire Blood made his way to the old member even as Crystal and Cortana did the same, joining his mate and walking along her side. He dwarfed the white pelted form of Cortana in this form, his thick black fur ruffling as Brook made her way to him and began to heal him, the male keeping his maw shut as Crystal approached. The three had much to discuss and prepare for, but at the moment that could wait. His body was tense, his fur fluffing as Wolfgang lifted his massive head, ears flicking forward within the ringed safety of his white horns, nose twitching as he raised it to the wind. He kept to the outer fringes, knowing his size alone tended to scare other members, especially the wounded, and then there was the fact that his inner demon had grown so powerful as to make physical manifestations to his body, hence the horns and the glowing red eye of his left side, while the other remained a clear and minty green. While Wolfgang knew of Crystal, he wasn't sure the smaller female knew of him - after all, he'd only seen her from a distance, and he had left the pack before she became the ruler, on a mission out in the great big world to find himself and discover who he truly was. During that time he had met his mate, and the two had grown close before he found his paws called home to handle the pack in the aftermath of the battle, and to pick up the pieces left in the rubble after the war. The fur along his spine lifted as Wolfgang moved towards the outer ring of the group, the immense fluff of his tail rising as he snarled, scenting vampire on the breeze. He did not like this. "Cortana, get the wounded and younger members to the center of the camp and back into the dens. I smell vampire on the air. Micheal, you will go with Brook, Raiden, and the pups. Watch after them. Akiba, you will guard them. Arcadia, you will guard the camp. Crystal, you may go with Raiden or you can come with Cortana and I; we will patrol the perimeter and ensure that the area is free of enemies. As the previous Alphess I leave the choice up to you. We can deal with our other problems later, for now I suggest we still have a home to argue over in subsequent hours."

Raiden grit his teeth trying to sit up before Brook had him lie back down "I can still fight.. i made it miles like this.." He tried to argue dispite his current condition. He frowns when he gave up letting brook continue on with her healing and doing hsi best to help when they moved him.

Akiba nods and gave a snap salute "Yessir!" He ran to the dens and came back oit not one minute later his balistic vest strapped on carrying his rifle and  a few extra guns incase they were needed. "Here hold these i can move Raiden" He murmers out to Brook

Crystal nodded"I should stay here... I want to make sure Raiden is alright. Plus, at least one person of power should be left here. As the previous alphess i shall be that person. I want to protect this place since i am the one who discovered it. It is the only livable area on the volcano itself andn thats why it was chosen."Her eyes had worry and determination in them. "After this is all settled the three of us can discuss  what needs to be spoken about" She glared at Raiden but in  protective way. "No. I dont want you to fight right now. Not until you are healed." Her voice was stern"You were one of my wolves before leaving which means i was YOUR alphess. I am making this an order and i am sorry i have to do that. You are going to stay here and you are going to rest. I will make sure that you dont have to fight."

Cortana nodded gently. She did as her mate and alpha commanded and brought in the pack two her. Brook Glanced at Wolfgang and nodded gently" of course "She said gently and looked to Akiba when he approached. She nodded and looked at Raiden" As your healer I strongly suggest and encourage you to not push yourself... your way to wounded to fight right now and I can't allow it "she said gently. She glanced at Crystal and gave a faint smile. She was worried about Akyra though not sure how she'd react to the news of their old alphaness's return. She bit her lip and slowly stood up when Akiba picked Raiden up.. 

Raiden let them both pick him up. and while they were talking he spied someone crouched in the bushes readying their weapon Raiden grabbed Akiba's head sort of pulling him downward out of his line of sight and fired twice into the bush "They are here in the trees!" He cried out before the vampires began to return fire with their own firearms..

Akiba was startled at Raiden suddenly yanking him down out of his way and when shots began to ring out he stopped behind a large enough tree where he could set raiden down. He grabbed his pistol and handed it to Brook "Get raiden into the dens drag him by his feet or shirt so he can return fire or leave him here in cover and help me takes these assholes out" He instructed and began to return fire with his XM8 firing his whole 30 round mag at them before having to reload giving those standing out in the open enough time to run for cover

She growled"I never ran intot he vamps. How the hell do i fight them!"She growls 

She nodded and ran at one of the vampires jumping onto him. As soon as she head him even a little pinned she sank her teeth into his throat and ripped her teeth away.

Brook snarled and grabbed Raiden by the shirt and started to drag him towards the den" there is no way he's able to fight not the way he is now "she growled and glanced towards them" AKYRA" She screamed. Cortana snarled and lunged forward towards the vampires. Her silver hued fur started to turn a shade darker as her shadows start to rise. Cortana lunged and landed on one of the vampires starting to rip them to shreads. A vampire threw a punch towards Cortana and tried to grab her when a deep red wolf came crashing in and landing on the vampire as a dark mass was shot through it's heart. Micheal joined in on the fight and started to fight the vampires along side them. 

Akiba stayed close to Brook as she dragged Raiden giving her covering fire. There was the sound of plastic hitting the earth as he swapped out his mags and reloaded quickly walking backwards to the side of them. One vampire came around to his flank and as Akiba noticed and began to swing around to shoot he took a shotgun blast to the chest sending him flying backwards onto his back. He laid prone on his back and returned fire gritting his teeth obviously in pain, He managed to take out the vampire before manageing to scoot back behind cover to reload as he coughed a bit. He slipped one hand under his vest and let out a soft sigh as he pul;led it out with no blood "Im okay Brooks just go!" He called to her before giving more coverign fire. The whole time raiden was shooting as well as he was being dragged "Just set me down behind a tree somewhere i can still shoot and fight sitting down "He tried to argue seeing the were out numbred a bit but not outmatched yet

Cortana and them fought. Brook glanced towards him and pulled him over to cover and crouched down. She took aim and started to shot at the vampires. She flinched some at the power of the pistol but then quickly got use to it and was surprisingly pretty good aim. Akyra the red wolf let out a yelp when she got trackled and whipped around attacking the vampire that knocked her down. She snarled and lunged at the vampire tearing him apart. Micheal was kicking a lot of butt. 

Akiba stayed where he was at reloading his rifle a second time the weapon so wonderfully differen the the blades and bows the wolven kind used here. He saw more vampire's converging on their position, a bit more then he had hoped. He grabbed his one flashbang grenade from his chest pulled the pin and lobbed it over into the cover the vampires were useing yelling out "Eyes down cover ears!" Before it exploded. the bright flash stunning the vampires far longer then it would have a wolven or human. Akiba popped out of cover to shoot at any vampire he saw

Cloud ripped out the throat of teh vampire that she had attacked.She snarled and glared as she looked around for the next vampire. She met eye contact with one and she rushed toward it jumping on top of it.  She sunk her teeth into its throat and ripped it out

When the fight began to slow down. Akyra took off running chasing a vampire. Brook healed Raiden before noticing that Akyra took off" Akyra "She muttered and took off after her. 

Akiba finished off the last few before chaseing after them ignoring the soreness in his chest

Wolfgang had one of the brutes pinned beneath his feet, the dark males fur rising as he bristled, a fierce snarl upon his maw while his ears flattened within the safety of his horns. The red eye flashed, brilliant as an ember, and the white ivory of his horns, as well as the pale gleam of his usually white teeth, were stained with the crimson of blood. His thick coat was marred in it, and the white band across his chest displayed the sticky substance freely, even though he was not the one injured. It was more a result of splatter from the vampires, and therefore, his pack's enemies. This particular vampire was still alive, however, as Wolfgang had refrained from killing the male, knowing that it might be wise to keep him prisoner, under an intense guard with lock and key of course, so that they could gain an understanding of the vampires' goals and attributions, their motives, and perhaps, if they were extremely lucky, a weakness they could exploit during the chaos of the coming war. Summoning a couple of the pack wolves behind him, Wolfgang held the blood sucker down until they bound him, using ropes rubbed down with garlic and rosemary, before dragging the pale faced creature to a dungeon, a place that had not been used for many centuries. Not since before Rain, his grandmother's, time. Arcadia was given the task of setting up watches on the brute, and she sent his captors for the first and initial watch, while Wolfgang gazed about the clearing, striding towards Cortana with a look to see whom they still had remaining. Brook, Akyra, and Akiba were gone, but they still had several wolves, including Crystal. Whom Wolfgang asked to keep a guard on camp, while he and his mate went to search and destroy any remaining intruders, or at least run them from the safety of Volcano borders, as he and Cortana were fairly adept at dealing with the things. It seemed the most logical course of action, at least, though being new and still untrained at this, Wolfgang wasn't sure what else an Alpha might contemplate before making such hefty decisions. Still, it was what he had to do, and he glanced at his love to confirm her support. If she had any other ideas, or wished to make changes to the strategy, she was free to do so.
