Alex sighed and shook her head" Nick stay up here "She said and set the stuff down. She raced down stairs and came to the floor she narrowed her eyes. She was built strong and sound it was clear she was some sort of fighter. She scanned the area before spotting where the fight was. She narrowed her eyes. She let out a sharp whisle and called the thugs by name to back off because this wasn't their place. She worked here most nights and sometimes during the day when they were open.

Some of the thugs did back off but most of them continued on trying to fight Welkin. They grabbed whatever they had as weapons or chairs and bottles if they didnt carry a knife. Welkin resorted to useing his combat knife. He avoided the slashes of his opponent. He grabbed the thugs arm and elbowed him in the face before slaming his knife in to the thugs hand and down to the bar pinning his hand down. This bold move angered the remaining thugs causeing them to rush welkin all at once before they stopped dead cold. Welkin had pulled out his pistol as a last resort "That is enough one more step and ill put a bullet through you!" He warned cooly watching the group. A few thugs were on the ground making groans of pain and a few were trying to help their friend whos hand was still pinned to the bar. Welkin didnt shoot. He waited to see if they would back off or try something stupid.

Leah bounded down after Alex, moving with surprising speed and agility for a girl who seemed to be on her last legs, the young blue haired female was apparently gifted with the uncanny ability to push her own feelings of pain and exhaustion to the side, or at least, it appeared to be so when it came to the art of self preservation or in the event that she was placed in a skirmish or the heart pounding world of a fight, whether it be of her own doing or not. Still, even with abilities and powers such as her own, with the art of telekinesis at her disposal, along with the unique power to density shift, she had her limits, and there were times when the young female still had to be careful, and almost always employed some type, shape and form of caution: after all, when one was in Leah's own circumstances, anything could be set up to look like a trap, and she was never sure just how far behind her her father really was. In fact, since she had been so heavily delayed these past few hours, it was very possible that either he or her "suitor" were entering the building even now, and were at this very instant hunting her down, starting up the ruckus if only to distract the patrons long enough to both spot and grab her. Of course, that might also be her paranoia talking, but, knowing her father and the male he'd sold her off to like she did, Leah wouldn't put anything past them, and so always lived on the more frugal side, lurking in the shadows, lingering in the shade, never reaching out, never connecting. Never asking for help nor relying upon another to give it - she'd been stabbed brutally, almost rather viciously, in the back before, and didn't particularly care for the experience, nor did she wish to repeat it. Even so, she couldn't just very well waltz out of here through the front door, now could she? For one, she was far too weak in her current state to get very far; in fact, she surprised herself in even managing to stand, which begged the further question of could she handle this? Should she really be rushing down here to get herself into some type of bar fight only so that she might aid some chick she just met? Why was she even attempting to help Alex anyways? Was it truly just to sneak out of sight and through the open doors the first moment she got, the first chance she was presented with, or was it due to some debt she felt she owed the woman for her unusual kindness? A slight growl reflected these thoughts as both Wolven and human came into contact with the scene below, the blue haired teenager pausing for a moment while she watched the display of brutality, feeling her heart beginning to pound with that thrilling rush that was the sweet form of adrenaline. She didn't like being confused, didn't like being confronted with things or scenarios she could not readily explain or even remotely offer an excuse for, a ready retort almost always upon her lips in most cases, in the usual, normal circumstances, but this...this was something she could get into, and this was something that if she were honest with herself, she rather liked. It almost always served to relieve some of her massive stress to pummel something senseless beneath the sharp instruments of her claws, or the grating bruise inflicted by her knuckles. So, she thought to herself even as she edged down the last few steps, let the games begin.

Alex walked up to Walkin and glanced at the thugs" AS I SAID GET THE H*** HERE " she said smoothly but she held a dangerous tone. She glanced at Walkin" put that away "she said smoothly and returned her gaze to the thugs. She was a pro boxer and has been undefeated in the ring since her return last year. Nick sneaked down the stairs and watched from the stairs.

Member Posts: 1821 | The thugs didn't stop. Welkin crossed the line with them in his self defense. He put his pistol away and got ready for a fight.. his time in an army gave him superb fighting skills as well. A few rushed him and the female who had stepped in to try to stop this. But all hell would break loose and Welkin would do what he had to do to protect himself and anyone who was on his side. Anything was a weapon bottles chairs even tables and the dj equipment. Welkin let the thugs make the first move and countered fighting two at once keeping one off balance or dazed as he fought the other.

Leah blinked as Alex stepped forward, rather smoothly interjecting herself into the conflict with the ease born of practice - Leah herself would have just came in with her fists swinging and guns blazing, if she were to carry such. As it was, she did not, the most she had were a few daggers spaced along her body here and there, but that didn't mean the thugs themselves knew that. She watched for a few moments, lingering where she was on the outskirts, eyeing the door, contemplating making her get away, but if truth were to be told, she would rather end up in the battle - it would give her a way to work through some of her tension, and to take out some of her frustrations in a...healthier way, for her at least, perhaps not for the men she was about to enter into combat with. A snarl left her lips as one of them staggered back from a particularly grueling blow, crumpling to the floor in front of her so that the young fae was forced to step over his limp body if she were going to become involved, neatly side stepping the blow of one drunken patron that had managed to catch sight of the rather elusive she-wolf. He whirled to face her once more, only to land flat on his face as he lunged forward again, countered by an industrious leap on Leah's part, the girl extending her legs to slam them into his back and shoulders as he flew past her, sending him crashing in a tumbling heap to the floor before rolling away from the swinging chair wielded by another man whom had seemingly gone out of control, slamming a small fist into the length of his gut, driving the kncukles up deep into the area of his solar plexus, crippling him for the foreseeable future, the Wolven girl watching in satisfaction while he crumpled to the floor, groaning in pain from the sheer force of the blow, taking a second to revel in her handiwork before thrusting herself back into the ever changing force of the fray.

Alex narrowed her eyes" fools "She growled and moved into a fighting stance. She didn't bother going for cheap moves. She knew how to KO someone and would do so now. She twisted around and kicked at one of their faces and aimed a punch at another one. Nick grinned and sat down watching the fight. he chuckled knowing his sister would be able to hear him from there" GO ALEX "He cheered.

Member Posts: 1821 | Welkin used. More brutal tactics breaking bones To show what would happen to the next attacker. He left two on the ground one with a broken jaw and the other with a broken leg he would grapple a thug and bend their arms or legs the wrong way to snap or dislocate hem with a sickening crack and crunch. He managed to snatch his knife back and used it sliceing those who attacked

Leah twisted about at the sound of the child's yell, a glare upon her beautiful, though delicately fragile face as she snarled, a clear warning for Nick to return to the upstairs bedroom, where he would be safe, ears flattening fully against her head as she did so, lashing out in a perfectly executed roundhouse kick, one that took one of her antagonizers down within a few moments, sending them reeling into the floor with nary a sense of what had happened, her tail waving in a plumed regard as she lifted it, straightening her form as she stiffened in a posture of dominance, attempting to cow the pup hidden behind the safety of the banisters even while she fought, so that she was taken by surprise when another one of her potential opponents reared up behind her, wrapping the lean little female up in his broad, tree trunk like arms, causing Leah to let out a strangled cry of surprise, more like a yelp really, if one truly listened to its inflection and tones, though she reacted almost instantly, bracing her lower body against the outlying structure of a table as the thug twisted, a maniacal grin upon his maw while he pondered the intent of displaying his newfound trophy to a few of his companions, even if Leah would only be an object of desire for a split few seconds. For even as he moved, she retaliated, gathering her strength so that when she pushed against the table with all the might held within her slender body, it sent the wooden structure flying into the male whom had dared to approach, as well as sending the one who held her captive staggering back a few steps. She had hoped it would be into the wall, so that it would stun him long enough to loosen the deadly giant like grip, but alas, it was not meant to be, for it wasn't so - instead, he only stumbled backwards a couple of steps, still a rather far cry from the safety of the wall itself, forcing Leah to improvise once again, hopefully before the male could recover his composure and figure out just what was going on. With a growl of frustration, she writhed and twisted, turning about so that she partially faced him, then slammed her forehead into his with a resounding smack, sending him staggering back and away with a startled cry of agony, leaving Leah to drop into a gasping heap upon the floor, gingerly rubbing her forehead and shaking her already badly emaciated form - truly, if one were to look at her and take in the apparent depth of her condition, they would wonder how she was even up and on her feet, though to the more experienced, there could be only one answer: sheer determination. With a huff of breath and a grunt of aggravation, Leah hauled herself up once again, sending herself crashing back into the roiling tumble that had become an all out bar fight, as a quick glance at the place told the teenaged Wolven all she needed to know: even the patrons whom had been minding their own business previously were engaged in the conflict now, involved in the brawl in some way, shape, form, or fashion. Not a pretty sight, unless they lived for the moment in which blood was racing and hearts were pounding, when cries of pain and surprise, perhaps an utterance of the utmost shock and astonishment at the audacity of such a situation, were uttered.

Alex kicked some butt and twisted around letting out a whistle. She glanced back towards her brother and then looked away towards the fight. Someone threw a pool table stick to her. she grabbed it and twisted it around starting to hit the thugs face and other spot on the person's body. She wipped around and kicked another person at the same time.

Welkin was thrown in to a group of thugs and exited nearly hitting Leah. He glaced at her before resuming his fight. He took a punch to the stomach and retaliated headbutting his attacker in to the bar then stabbing his leg with his knife disableing him for the fight. He was grabbed by another thug and had to flip him over his shoulder to keep fighting. He snarled as he plunged his knife in to the chest of the next attacker. Welkin was getting more agressive and less defensive.

Leah was off in her own little corner, wading her way through the massive chaos that was the bar fight, picking her way through the opponents one by one or two by two, however they might have been presented to her, slamming a foot here, a kick there, perhaps a fist in another area or two before watching them crumple lifelessly to the ground, mercifully taken by the process of unconsciousness. She wound herself around one of them by leaping upon their back, finding this to be one of the more effective ways in which she could deal with larger opponents on her own, gathering her legs about their shoulders and proceeding to pummel them about the head and ears, making sure to box the latter thoroughly before they could recover from the shock and subsequent imbalance, gritting her own teeth in apprehension as she felt herself waver, claws digging into the tenderly gentle flesh of her palms, ears still pressed flat against her skull, aligning themselves with the curve of her cranial bones, tail remaining up and curved, displaying her lack of fear and apparent belief of dominance, as she wasn't giving up, nor was she faltering in the slightest when it came to the trading of blows, an usual combination in one so small, but one that made Leah who she was, and further intriguing those who would make a habit of studying her. A glance was tossed in Welkin's direction as he staggered by her, and she paused for a moment, taking a mere second to ensure he was okay, a brief lapse in judgement that was later played upon an instant later as the thug whose shoulders the female Wolven rode upon seized the moment's distraction to turn the tables upon her, snatching her up by the leg just before hauling her from the safety of his shoulders, smothering her first in what appeared to be a bear hug, a gesture that stole her breath away, squashed to protective cage of her ribs in which housed her lungs, a breathless yip sounding from her airless lips, though the noise was muffled and rendered nearly inaudible by her lack of oxygen, a fact that was further preyed upon by her assailant when he tossed her aside, sending her flying in a tumbling heap across the room. Unable to stop her ascent and subsequent descent, Leah could do naught but prepare herself for the worst, not even able to twist herself around enough to tuck and roll, only praying that the landing would be a shielded one in which she would be able to quickly regain her feet, not at all relishing the idea of what might happen otherwise, of what fate might befall her should she pass into the realm of sweet oblivion. There was a solid thud as she collided with another warm body, and an unfamiliar scent wreathed around her nostrils for the briefest of minutes while her ears picked up the noise of their resounding scuffle, each of the two sent hurtling across the polished hard wood of the floor, only to collide head and back first with the hardened surface of the bar. Stunned, Leah lay there for a few seconds, black eyes glazing over with the sheer weight of exhaustion, her otherwise keen mind reeling from the atrocity of the blow, the fact that Welkin was the one she had been so ruthlessly tossed into a blessing she was unable to comprehend, her limp form strewn across the lap of his own in a hap hazard stance that belied the tough, durable nature of her outer shell, a skin that had, and still could, have taken many a beating, a feature that might be further tested into the realm of reality when one took note of the sight of the approaching thug who had so blatantly and callously tossed her.

Member Posts: 1821 | Welkin had let out a surprsed yelp as Leah and himself collided and had fallen. He glanced down at her exhausted dazed body and knew she had not the strength to get up and keep fighting. He pulled he smaller form behind his own to protect her from harm. Or attempt to. "I got you it will be alright." He spoke softly to her before He drew his handgun and fired in to the towering brute who had been the one to throw Leah and shot him three times. Twice in his chest and once in his head. Then the next two attackers untill he was empty. Everyone has fled the bar or was unconcious except a few more angry or crazy thugs. One advanced on them and drew his own pistol. Out of ammo Welkin pushed Leah down and out of harms way useing his own body as a sheild. A shot rang out and Welkin jerked as he was hit. He braced for another. They had a shotgun behind the bar and Alex had a straight path to reach it. Welkin looked down at Leah. It was all he could do. If he got up Leah would be shot.. they both knew Welkin couldn't take anther hit. Would Alex or even perhaps Leah do something?

Alex glanced back to see that the bar tender was in a fight himself and knocked the guy out as she went towards the gun. She grabbed it and cocked it before taking her aim. she aimed at the more aggresive one. " FREEZE "She let out a demanding call out to the thugs. When simply laughed and charged at her taking the chase that she was bluffing. But she wasn't she shot him and took him down in one shot before cocking the shot gun once more and taking aim once more" IF NON OF YOU BOYS WANT TO JOIN YOUR FRIENDS IN THE AFTER LIFE. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU PUT YOUR ****** GUNS DOWN, STEPP AWAY FROM THEM AND GET ON YOUR HANDS AND KNEES WITH YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD NOOOWWW "she screamed out at them as she walked out from behind the bar. She had the guy with the gun right between her cross sights.

Leah flinched at the sound of the gun shot, feeling Welkin flinch just above her, though there was little she could do to move at this point - if she stuck her head up, she would most assuredly be hit, quite possibly lose a life, and then were would they be? But that didn't mean she was just going to lay here and let the elder male Wolven protect her, she was more than capable of fending for herself, thanks very much, as she believed she had thoroughly demonstrated...before she had been so easily thrown. She shook her head with a soft moan at the throbbing pain that lanced through it, her body feeling heavy and sluggish, clearly protesting all that she had put it through, though Leah knew she couldn't stop now. No, try as she might, she could not just lie down and let the world pass her by; these people needed some sort of help, however minor it may have been. Besides, Welkin had already taken one bullet for her, she wasn't about to let him take another one. Cynical as she was, antisocial and embittered towards all social life she may have been, but she was loyal and honorable - to a certain extent, of course. She didn't like to leave a debt unpaid, and even if she believed Welkin had saved her for his own selfish reasons, in the end they always did, after all, or at least, that's the conclusion the blue haired young female had come to based upon such interactions with her father and the "suitor" he'd chosen for her, she wasn't going to just let him perform a similar feat by putting his own hide on the line. Her ears flickered as she opened her eyes, clenching her hands into fists as she sucked in a determined breath, listening as the shots rang out, as the yelling and shouting reached a cresendo, the frenzied nature of the unorganized attack giving her a headache to add to the one she'd received already, further serving to irritate and annoy her to the point that she'd really rather hit something soon as look at it. Sadly, at this particular moment in time that wasn't an option, and she figured she'd just have to settle for saving Welkin's own hide, feeling him tense in a bracing motion in preparation for the next shot. While Alex was making a mad dash to the bar, Leah figured the thug would most likely get his last bullet in one way or another, and so, at the last minute, the latest possible instant, the girl reared up, twisting out and back behind Welkin, her tiny hands clamping down upon his shoulder firmly, the power of her grip sure to make him wince, especially considering the fact that he was already wounded. While she normally wouldn't have held on so tightly or clenched her hands together so hard, one had to understand, that at this exact instant, Leah was desperate - she was on her last legs, had only managed to summon enough energy for one last display of power; she knew she was most likely going down after this final burst, and could only hope that it worked sufficiently enough to buy Alex the proper seconds she needed in which to secure the gun. While the world swam dizzingly before her, Leah closed her eyes, gritted her teeth, and focused. She gathered those lingering dregs of energy, pooled them within the drying well of her power, and channeled them forward, sending the fickle energies coursing through not only the physical form of her own figure, but into Welkin's as well. The ability she'd chosen to use was known as Density Shift, a power that enabled the wielder, and sometimes a person or two of their choosing, to phase into another density. It was mainly useful for avoiding powerful attacks, but as with everything, it had its drawbacks - for one, it required a great deal of concentration, and at least a moment or two of preparation to phase out the molecules of whomever it was employed by, making it a rather tricky substance to use. The gun held so securely within the grip of the final opposing threat that was a rather stubborn thug fired just as she had leaned up, giving her all of a split second to perform the feat, but perform it she did, and to a level of perfection she had as of yet never achieved. The resulting occurrence realized the fact that even as Leah slumped back seconds later, unable to even fathom a counter proposal, both she and Welkin's molecules were light enough that the bullet passed through without even a scratch upon their forms, going on to bury itself in the thick anchor that was the bar's wooden surface, permitting Alex to both reach the shotgun and to demonstrate her proficiency at wielding such a weapon. Now unconscious, thereby oblivious to the rest of the scene, Leah sagged back against the counter as both her body and the form of Welkin returned to normal, leaving the latter, gasping in astonishment, no doubt patting himself down in a vain attempt to discover just what type of sorcery had just happened, or just what witchcraft had been so quickly employed.

Welkin had turned his head only to watch the remaining thug get blasted to the ground in a bloody heap by the shotgun Alex had grabbed. Welkin placed one hand on his stomach where he had been hit and another on Leah's neck checking her pulse unsure if the power she had used had claimed her life or had instead knocked her out. He checked her over finding that the blood that had stained her clothes was indeed not her own. It was his own. As his adernaline rush faded the pain began to make its enterance. He let out a pained gasp as it hit him "Fuck.. this hurts" He growled from the pain and moved so he sat next to Leah resting his back against the bar. It wasnt life threatening, if treated at a hosptal or perhaps by a healer but it sure hurt like hell. Welkin looked around at all the dead or injured and felt a sense of guilt.. did he cause this? Would this have been avoided if he had simpally walked out? He looked up seeing Alex making her way over to him shotgun in hand still. She hadnt seen how it started and would need to review the camera tapes to see later on. Would she assume Welkin was the problem that started it? An out of towner starting shit? or would she know the thugs had because of past experiances.

Alex set the gun down and walked over towards them. She crouched down to them. She looked at him" lets get you some medical attention "She said gently far different from the tone she took against the thugs. She Glanced at Leah and called one of the guys over" Help me get them upstairs "She said gently. The guy blinked" Shouldn't we like take them to the hospital? "he asked. Alex rolled her eyes" I can treat them easily just do as I say "She said as her sharp tone came back in quickly" but have someone call this in.... "she grumbled and went to help him up. The guy went and picked Leah up and carried her back upstairs.

(Part one) Leah flinched at the slight touch that was Welkin's fingers pressing against her neck for a pulse, managing to stir with only the faintest of murmurs, but that was all. She had used the last of her strength in order to deflect the final bullet, and her reserves had already been tapped by another dangerous circumstance earlier where she had saved Nick, in addition to the fact that her Seer abilities had been going into overtime here lately - a rare occurrrence, to be sure, and not one that Leah herself was overly thrilled about, though she had no choice as to how to control the matter.

(Part two) A soft whimper escaped her lips as her tiny figure was lifted, one arm folded over her abdomen, ears flicking in their usual manner at the noises surrounding her; even if she were technically unconscious, it didn't mean her body and heightened Wolven senses would keep from absorbing information from the surrounding area, and who all was around her. She didn't enjoy the sensation of being weightless or of having another's arms around her, however, even in her sleep - it reminded her far too much of the hell that was her time with her father, and if she'd had the strength, she would have eagerly lashed out, thrashing in resistence to the touch, but as it was, she had not the ability to do so, and was merely stuck in place, uanble to comphrehend anything beyond what her dreaming mind conjured or to protect herself from the vulnerability of her environment. A fact that Leah would normally have hated, like as not despised, but one that she could literally do nothing about. A portion of herself, only vaguely aware of its surroundings, merely hoped that whatever else she did, especially when she awoke, as she was more often than not known for her short temper regarding such, she did not severly frighten or traumatize Nick.

Welkin looked over at Leah as she whimpered and hoped she had been okay. He was on his feet and mainly used the bar and wall to walk untill he got to the stairs "Um.... Do you happen to have an elevator by any chance?" He asks alex unsure if he could make it up the stairs as he still bled out. It was amazing he could walk with just the wall or a bar to lean on. Welkin had no idea how tough he was for him it was normal.
