Alex wrapped her arm around his upper back and nodded giving him support. She helped him to the elevator that read VIP's only and used a card to open the doors. The upstairs area was for VIPS... there was a holtel next door for guys that got too drunk to drive home. the bar owner owned the hotel as well. Vips get nice rooms above the club itself. When the doors open Alex helped him into the elevator" do you know your blood type? "She asked smoothly.

"Type O, Im.. sorry about the fight.. I should have just left.." He didnt look at her.. Perhaps he felt bad? He was apologiseing for something that wasnt his fault. "Now you have a shot up and ruined bar and a dozen or more dead guys in it.." He stepped out of the elevator and let her lead him where he needed to go. "What is going to happen now..? The police probably are down there right now. Am i going to be arrested for what happened?" He asks as she sat him down

Alex nodded gently. She pushed the Vip floor and took off her jacket. She put pressure on his wound and glanced up at him" it's ok this happens sometimes kinda often... those guys are always causing trouble here. "she said calmly and looked up at him. She didn't look like she had the money to afford running a bar and holtel nor does she look like she had the money to afford the Vip treatment of this club. She wore normal worn jeans and a t shirt. Her jacket was leather and she hand good pair of boots on. She was strong and a good fighter... both in and out of the ring. She went to state and almost one a couple years ago but that was before that last fight where a rib was broken into her lunge and she was sidelined for over a year in recover due to her injuries both from inside the ring and the car accident before. She helped him to a room and set him down on the bed. She ordered one of the guys to get her medical supplies from the other room. the one that the boy was in. Nick was very young about 6 years old. Deffinatly not old enough to be hanging out at the club.

"Whats with that kid from earlier...? He is too young to be in a place like this" He spoke to Alex as the supplies arrived. He knew this would hurt worse than the actual bullet. "And if this happens often how the hell does the place look so nice? Its complerely trashed now..." He frowns "Sorry.. talking takes my mind off getting shot..." He was still wearing a now ruined uniform and had set his empty pistol down on one of the dressers "I left my rifle in the coat check in by the way.. Just incase anyone asks"

Alex blinked and sighed" Nick he's my little brother. He comes here after school and hangs out in the office or the spare bedroom the boss keeps empty incase an employ needs to stay the night or something. He is suppose to stay there and work on homework while I'm working. "she said smoothly as she got things ready and worked on dulling the area so he wouldn't feel it as badly. It was pretty clear she's had experiance with this stuff. She chuckled" we all work together to fix stuff up and we charge the cards of the guys that made the mess "She said gently. she simply nodded" the lady that took the coat and rifle properly put it in the lock box for yea... That's standard practice here when it comes to guns and those that bring them get a free night to stay the night if they get drunk so they arn't carrying the weapon while their drunk "She said gently.

He reached in to his pocket and pulled out his wallet opening it up "How much is this going to cost? for the mess. He was really offering to pay for the damages that he thought he caused. perhaps Alex could tell him that it wasnt his fault.. still he seemed to have a fair amount of cash. Perhaps he needed a job. He did seem like he jus came in to town. "Thats nice, so they cant go around drunk and shooting people.. Doesnt this kind of stuff scare Nick though?" He asks again realiseing he was prying. "Sorry.. i shouldnt keep asking questions.

The guy had taken Leah and laid her down in the bed in the room where Nick is and Nick helped check her over and cover her up. He then glanced over at the guy. The guy raised a brow" did you finish your homework? "he asked. Nick shrugged" some of it "he said softly. The guy chuckled" alright come on get your homework done.. I'll stay up here and help when you need it but only when you need it ok? "he said sitting down at the table. Nick sighed and sat down he started doing homework. Alex glanced at him and the money. she shook her head" it's being charged on their cards.. don't worry about it... "she said gently and smiled" it's ok.... Nick is a brave little boy... He has to deal with things more serious then a dumb bar fight "she said gently. a 6 year old having to deal with things more serious? what could that be? if Walkin would take a close look. he could possible see the tired look and bagginess under Alex's eyes. Like she works herself to the bone day in and day out but what she wears doesn't show that she puts that hard work into looking good and by her weight it wasn't a ton of junk food either. " you just get into town? "she asked softly.

He nods "Yeah.. never been to a place like this before. Grew up in a small little village on the border of two different ruleing countrys.." He didnt go in to more detail about that "You seem tired yourself.. you should get some rest after you finish patching me up.. My name is Welkin by the way. Nice to meet you" He smiles a bit before lieing back down letting her get to work on removeing the bullet and closeing his wound up. He was lucky it wasnt too serious.

Alex worked on the wound and easily got the bullet out and stitched him up. She glanced at him and gave a gentle smile" I'm ok.... just a lot has been going on... that was like my second fight today and welcome to our town... I'm Alexandra but everyone calls me Alex. During the day I train for my next match and during the afternoon and night I work here "she said gently" I take a few hours off during the afternoon until Nick goes to bed then I come back to work for the late shift... "She said softly" you looking for a place to stay and work properly? "She asked.

Member Posts: 1821 | Welkin shook his head "no not currently.. I was going to check in to a motel for the night. And o was going to look for a place to work later that day.. is there any openings here?" He asks hoping he could perhaps get a position as a bouncer seeing how well he could fight. Although ales just met him and knew nothing about him other than he was from out of town and could fight well. "Where is that other girl at? Is she going to be okay?

Alex listened to him and nodded" well I'm sure that *Says owners names* would be happy to have some more help around here. "she said gently and grinned. She glanced back over towards the door" oh She's in the spar bedroom where Nick is... I'm sure she's alright just kinda tired. Nick or *says guys name* would have came and got me if I was needed "She said gently. She returned her gaze to her work and finished up with a wrap around it. She glanced up at him" alright all done... I would take it easy and not be shy about taking pain medication. because it will be sore for sometime "She said gently. Nick and him sat in the room the guy making sure Nick was getting all his homework done. He knew that Alex didn't like when Nick fell behind in school and since the boy was most likely going to be in touble for sneaking down stairs might as well have him finish his schoolwork.

Welkin gave Alex a smile as he lied back a bit resting with his back against some pillows propped up against the bedframe and wall. "Thank you again for patching me up. I dont want to keep you for too long, you must have other things to do but if its not a problem it would be nice to have someone else to talk to for a bit. What is the city like around here? Is it all this.. Hostile?" He asks making it quite obvious he had never been in a city as large as the one they were in now. He let himself relax a bit his brown eyes looking up at Alex wondering if she would be able to stay for a bit. He glanced twards the door wondering how Leah was. He still had no idea why he risked his life to save her own.

Leah lay upon the bed in which she had been placed, chin resting against her shoulder, breathing slow and even, nose twitching occasionally as she tested the scents, aware of someone near her, though she was unable to determine exactly whom it was - she figured it to be Nick, but could not be absolutely certain. It may have very well been the male which had carried her up here. She didn't know him, was uncertain as to his name, but she wouldn't have doubted it in the slightest if he had hung around. Though his grip had been gentle, she found herself loathing the fact she'd been so helpless, as she was most acutely aware of that fact. Despite her exhaustion, despite how hazy her entire world was, she was at least vaguely aware of what was going on around her, though she might not be able to retain specifics or even to spell it out later, she had an idea of everything. Curling up onto her side, groaning softly, so quietly it was barely audible as she buried her head into the pillow, Leah breathed deeply, taking in the comforting reek of linen as she wondered what to do next. She should get up, she knew. She should rise, force her way out of here, and be on her way, for he was bound to show up sometime. Or should she refer to they instead? Leah was positive that her father would have been bringing along her suitor, that he wouldn't have come to track her down alone, and she was equally as convinced that they were most likely very close to catching up to her at this point - she'd been hanging around this town and city for far longer than she should have been, but in all honesty, she had hoped that she might be able to hide here, to conceal herself in the vast recesses of this refuge of a place. But the dagger like mark that many mistook for a tattoo, an image that in reality was a birth mark she had been gifted with since her entry into this life and world, miserable as it had been and agonizing as it still was, throbbed steadily in warning, allocating her senses the time they needed to fathom a counter plot or a secondary plan, which in her case, had been as simple as run as fast as you can and get as far as you can. Seemed that was no longer an option, not in her condition. The pain had grown worse, both in her head and the wrist itself, and now, after the entire stress of the bar fight, she felt as if her whole body throbbed, figuring idly it was likely due to where she had been thrown, Leah couldn't help but grit her teeth in frustration at it all the same. She didn't want to move, didn't want to rise...she was tired. So very tired, and as if things weren't bad enough, as if she hadn't been rendered completely helpless and humilated once tonight already, her stupid Seer abilities wouldn't give her any peace. She kept getting flashes of something, though she wasn't sure as to what it was, or even remotely what it meant, all she knew as that it was starting to get on her nerves. Now she couldn't even really sleep, as was evidenced by the rapidly normal pace of her breathing, the underlying tension in her muscles as she stretched out on her stomach, pulling the pillow over her head and covering her ears, burying her face into the depths of both mattress and sheet, as if by doing so she could tune out the screams...her screams, she was sure, in a scenario she could only guess was approaching soon. A most unpleasant prospect, and one she wouldn't have wished on even the darkest of enemy, let alone embark upon or undergo herself, though Leah knew that in the long run, she would be given little, if any, choice.

Alex cleaned the stuff up and then sat down on the bed" I can stay a little longer "she said gently. She gave a gentle smile" The city is pretty cool. There is so much here.... I grew up here... there are some areas of the city that are dangerous... We do have an active gang here but we try to not cross them the wrong way. "she said gently" The city has a lot of different poeple not just of nations but species as well "She told him softly." not that many would admit about the different species living here like Wolven and vampires. "She said softly" sometimes they cause trouble but not to often... at least to my knowledge "she said softly. Nick turned his head and looked over when he saw her move. He was about to get up but the guy tapped his finger on the table" just a few more questions to finish before you can leave the table "he said smoothly with a soft smile" I'll check on her you finish your homework kiddo "he said standing up and messing with the boy's hair. He walked over her and sat down on the edge of the bed.

Welkin nods as he listened to her understanding what she ment by dangerous gangs. "Who is that girl i took a bullet for anyway? She looked like she was running on fumes... What happened to her?" He asks wanting to know more about Leah. Yet he couldnt ask her himself untill she woke. And that was if she would even tell him. All welkin could piece together was that Leah was on her last legs and perhaps running from someone or something. And for some reason Welkin felt he needed to help her. "When do you think she will wake up?" He also asks wishing he could go to her room now but he knew Alex probably would not let welkin go anywhere after just getting shot. Atleast for a few hours or a day untill he healed enough to walk. Yet welkin wished he could. He knew he could walk it just would hurt and he was used to pain

Leah stiffened reflexively once she felt his what seemed like enormous weight upon the bed - or at least, she perceived it to be enormous, but then again, with the way her head was throbbing, she figured anything over a pound or two wouldn't feel too nice. And he wasn't even sitting near her, he was parked on the very edge of the mattress. Leah curled her lips back in a snarl, though he could not see such as she was facedown upon the soft expanse, the pillow pulled securely over the mass of her blue hair, only the slightest dredges of the ends sticking out into visible light, the ears flattening against her head. While he may not have seen the hostility in her facial expression - she particularly distrusted and despised men, considering her history and past, whether she knew them personally or not - he most certainly would have heard her soft, but deadly warning snarl, the noise a warning for him to back away, to remove himself from her presence before she snapped, whether the room was spinning on her or not. He would have also seen the stiff posture of her tensing form, and easily been able to tell from the way she was lying that she wasn't in the best of moods, or particularly up for visitors at the moment - but then again, it wasn't like she often was. Leah was so antisocial, so deprived of any kind of positive interaction, she didn't know how to respond to people in a normal way, nor did she really plan on figuring it out. Until she ended this thing with her father, there was no point, and it wasn't like she was going to be able to defeat him anytime soon. It was why she kept running, as the younger Wolven female knew that she was no match for her sire, particularly not in the condition she was currently in. She had her density shifting on a good day, perhaps even her telekinisis, but that wasn't going to win her any favors or bring her any advantages. She could only density shift at certain times, and it never lasted for very long - one of the many downsides of remaining untrained, though she could use her powers and blood born abilities well enough when she needed, amazingly so, considering the limited instruction she had received from mere books and experiments she'd tried - usually on herself, since she was the only creature around and she dared not participate in such risky business with her father. Still, it was apparent that she was quite weak from her previous ordeals, and had not the strength to even rise, much less perform much of a retaliation, though one could rest assured: she would most certainly snap, even if she couldn't really kick or hit, she always had her teeth, and considering they were the pointed instruments of fangs, they were often known to hurt like a dickens when she put her mind or back into it.

Alex blinked slowly" I don't know... I Just met her today... Nick had gotten some bad news about a guy He greatly admired and looked up too. He took off running and got lost. She found him and brought him back. Then she passed out falling down the stairs. She had just woke up a few moments before everything went down down stairs "She said gently and sighed" I do agree something does seem to be troubling her but we wont' know anything until she wakes up but I don't know how long that will be. then again I don't know how much she'd be willing to share when she does wake up "She muttered softly. The guy blinked slowly and sighed" it's ok your safe now "he whispered gently to her not knowing if she could hear him or not. His voice was soft and gently before getting up and walking back over to Nick" I think it might be a good idea if Alex tended to her now.... She might react better with a female near her "he said softly sitting down. Nick blinked" should I go get her? "he asked. he merely chuckled and shook his head" no... you finish your homework... I'll go talk with Alex. she's tending to the other guy "he said gently before getting up and walking out.

Two well dressed men had entered the downstairs section of the club inspecting the bodys.. "Shes hear.. This is her style of "work" The older of the two declared. They went upstairs and began to search room to room for Leah. "I smell her.. this is the one" The suitor declared and they began to force the door open. Welkin heard a scream and jolted up and was out bed and out in the hallway before Alex even knew what was happening. The two men had forced their way in to the room yet the bodyguard in there had delayed them just long enough for Leah to get out of there. Welkin gave chase wanting to know what the hell was going on before it was too late. He saw the two men had given chase and couldnt see who was behind them. He turned to see where Leah would go.

Leah quietened when the male rose from the bed and left her, a soft grunt of a growl leaving her lips in response to his comment. She knew it wasn't true, his little remark regarding the fact she was safe here, even if he himself didn't know it. Her mark flashed a brilliant white within the hidden campartment of her sleeve, revealing to her that danger was close, far closer than her visions had lead her to believe, a sudden violent flash of a mere instant in the future painting itself before her eyes with such a cruel snap of energy that she bolted upright, her body jerking in both astonishment and surprise, terror searing through her form in burning slats of pain. A scream left her lips, followed by a yelp of shock as the door came crashing in - she'd been so involved in the vision as it consumed her, and the lancing stabs of the knife shooting up her arm and anchoring into the delicate bones of her wrist she had not noticed her father and suitor's approach, though she recognized them in a heartbeat within seeing their faces, of withing catching the vile whiff of their scents. A small breath of air escaped her, a soft utterance of a whimper, before she bit her lower lip, clenched her teeth, and threw herself into the fray. It didn't matter that her head hurt, didn't matter she was running low on energy - the flood of adrenaline flushing through her system was more than enough to sustain her for the duration of this particular chase, sending her heart into overdrive and her breath rasping in her ears, shaking figure rising up to balance perfectly upon the worn surface of the soles upon her boots before she rolled forward on her feet. The snap of her black eyes quickly assessed the situation, at least ensuring that for the moment Nick was not in danger - the bodyguard, though taken by surprise, was fighting with the intruders, and as long as Leah got herself out of here, the two of them should be safe. After all, their quarry was her, their intended targer her own self, and once she was out of here, they'd have not a single span of interest in either of the other occupants of this particular space. Thrusting herself forward, she slammed into the abdomen of one attacker, sending the two of them crashing down with the force of her momentum, just before he was able to wrest control of the situation from what she could only assume was the bouncer, the male whose name she did not know, but whom had been nice enough to carry her upstairs and out of the way of the fight. The resulting jarring of the movement caused the little female to still for a split second as she lifted her head, shaking it roughly while she sucked in a breath, then rolled to her feet and scrambled up into an upright position before taking off, tail out and up, her motions quick and harried. Panic was written across her face, her hood was down, revealing the pale pallor of her skin, the hollow vacancy within her eyes, the dark smudges of fatigue underneath the brilliance of the usually hostile ink colored orbs, ears pinning back to her head. Her motions were quick, fast, as if desperate to escape, frantic to get away, to find solace and relief from the unending nightmare and the plaguing terror that was the substance of her "family". She didn't notice Welkin following her, didn't even stop to pause and consider who all might be trailing after the blue haired girl in the wake of such chaos and commotion if only to find answers in the first place. Instead, she hit the stairs running, missed a step, and tumbled down their length, then popped back up, using the banister as a realm of support while she staggered back to her feet, aware of just one thing: she had to get away. She had to remain free.

Nick blinked and jumped with a small scream of surprise seeing the guys break in. He stumbled out of his chair and fell backwards. The guy glared at the guys" GET THE ****** OUT OF HERE OR YOU'LL FACE DEATH BY ME"he growled. He didn't even have to ask. if they were here breaking into the room they ment trouble. Alex blinked and heard both Leah's scream and Nick's. She whipped around and grabbed her gun and knife. She walked out and got between Leah and her chasers.
