Revy grins "Sounds good to me" She did wonder about the high price if they left his crew, she didnt owe him shit however, so being indebt to him wouldnt be a possability, and she had enough cash to cover something if she fucked something up which was unlikely "As long as i get to kick some ass count me in, This town doesnt even seem half as dangerous as Roanapur"

Blake chuckled" you think this place isn't as dangerous as Roanapur? "he asked raising a brow." how long have you been here? "He asked smoothly with some amusement in his eyes and tone.

Blake nodded slowly then shook his head" no.... haven't been there but I've had contacts there who told me how bad it was there... "he said gently and smirked" that's why I know you can handle what ever job I throw at you " he said smoothly" I can use a girl that can handle herself... A good ally in this line of work "he said smoothly. He pulled out some wine" A drink? "he asked grabbing a couple glasses.

She shook her head "I dont drink that shit, and i dont want to be too smashed up while im on the job" She declines the drink wanting to know more about him and the job he had for her. Perhaps he could ask about her after he explaines more about who he was and what the job was.

"A day job?" She crossed her arms unsure if she liked the sound of that or not. She did have connections in goverment outside of the city and grins a bit "Afraid ill be putting you in the hotseat if they find out im making too much? Send a bitch I know 10% of whatever i make and she takes care of the rest her name is Eda" Revy replied cooly, of course there was the chance she would enjoy having a day job, "I already have a place i crash at, but im guessing im not forced to sleep where you want me to sleep." (When she said bitch she used it in her friendly way xD)

Sire's post "It's a pleasure to meet you, Richard.." She made an aspirated giggle, showing it was forced. "And thank you for not making any racist remarks." Which was the casual 'top of the mornin to ya!' 'yer a leprechaun!' She pulled her hair over one shoulder and out of her face. Although a strand defiantly stayed in her face, caressing the fixtures of her face, highlighting the contours and highlights that embraced her irish heritage strongly. "I will help you, but I must take brakes every now and then. If that is okay.. I get dizzy sometimes." Her comment completely sliding over his first question. She had no place to stay, but saying it outloud gives it reality, in which causes her to become greatly depressed. No family, no home, and it all happened so quickly.. Cortana's post for Richard He nodded" of course you just got to town and why don't you get some food to eat before you start work.... it's not good to work on an empty stomach... Here is a room key to the room upstairs I keep it open for if anyone needs a place to crash for a while "he said gently" your welcome to stay there as long as you need too "he said gently.

Evelyn thanked the man with a smile, almost eagerly taking the keys and putting them in a pocket. "I haven't slept under something in so long.." Her smile feeble but geniune, it told stories of pain and grief. A story that might even cause the hell owner himself jump out of his throne. Her lips cracked as they stretched, pools of blood slowly filling in the lines. As it started to pain her, her smile faded but her thankfulness was still apparent. When the rather rowdy woman came in, she flinched at the commotion. Like a turtle with a shell, she retreated in an invisible one, her eyes becoming locked to the ground.

Richard watched as his brother in law came in and talked with the lady who came in then watched as they both left. Though he didn't like the idea of what Blake and her were up to he did at least relax and feel ok that he honored the agreement they settled after Richard married his sister. Richard glanced at her" sorry about that... wanna go check out where the room is and get a tour? "he asked gently.

"That would be nice." She muttered, watching the two leave. She knew they weren't up to any good, and wished whoever was the victim no harm, despite who it might be. Evelyn was the type of person to see the good in anyone, and maybe that was why she was in such a situation. Maybe it was because she let people treat her whatever way they wanted, because deep down, Evelyn knew they had some reason for it. Everyone is good to her, and that pain is what causes good people to do bad things. Pain, and other reasons that are always somehow linked with tradgedy or sorrow. Her empathy was stronger than anyone that could possibly possess these streets. "How long have you managed this place, sir?" She spoke up, making small-talk with the owner. Â She rose up from her stool as she awaited his movements. Her blue eyes hidden by electric pink locks of hair that swayed infront of her face in the style of messy bangs. Her hair was matted, and like her body, unkempt. Her clothes sagged on her except for her pants, that were held up by 2 shoe strings tied together. They were ripped and torn, stained in places by food, blood, and other things. Her skin was decorated with bruises; since she was anemic, she bruised easily. Her frail arms were hidden by the long sleeves she was wearing. Her trembling hands forced into pockets.

Richard smiled gently as he walked towards the stairs" I've owned this club for about 10 to 15 years now I think... it was my first job out of highschool then the previous owner moved away and sold it to me "he said gently" and I've changed things around and made it better "he said gently and showed her around a bit as he made his way to the spare room that she could call home until she got a place and settled down.

With attentive ears, Evelyn listened politely and followed the manager and her future landlord. She followed close behind him and wandered the walls with her heavy eyes. "My first job was at a pet store," She mumbled, "I was 15." An obnoxious lock of hair was pushed from her eyes to behind an ear, exposing that too, had taken damage. The tip of her ear was split, unable to scar together, it looked like a marked stray cat. A small chunk a few centimeters lower was ripped out from the ear, leaving a curvature where it didn't belong. "B-but I like what you've done... t-to the place."

Site Owner Posts: 550 | Leah glanced about as the pair of Wolven entered the club - it seemed as if Welkin had brought her back to the place they had first met, as Leah recognized this place. Here was where Welkin had taken a bullet for her, back when they were almost complete strangers. And here was where she had first displayed her almost uncanny ability tocshift densities, a fact that had surprised her mate to no end before she had told him of her unique powers. Now, though, she was here as a guest, not a stranger returning a lost brother to his elder sister. Her small hand was entwined within Welkins own larger one, the pale blue ears twitching even as her tail swished, clearly marking and defining her as a Wolven, though most wouldnt know if she were an average lupine or Dire. The noise clamored in her ears, and she had to take a deep, steadying breath. Leah had left the hood of her sweatshirt down, plainly revealing her hair, and thus her identity, to her enemies, that was her father's minions. It wad kind of a "screw you" gesture to throw back in his face she was still free, and furthermore with the man of her dreams.

Welkin smiled when she slipped the hood of her jacket off his deep blue jacket and jeans looking good on him "You look good with your hood down" He compliments before glanceing around his eyes suddenly locking to a sign "Ohh they have karaoke here? Cmon lets get a booth" He grins hoping she would not mind it. He knew some people had issues singing infront of others and were shy about it and he was determined to get her to sing atleast once "I wonder if that girl still works here. The one that patched me up and helped you" He murmers as they moved to the karaoke rooms. Welkin paid the 10 dollar fee for 5 songs and walked insie with her to a nice cozy little room wiuth a couch and few chairs with modern designs and such. there was plenty of neon lighting and a large flatscreen tv with a nice speaker system. A microphone sat on the table in the middle of the room

Site Owner Posts: 550 | Leah glanced at him when he complimented her, blushing softly in the dimmer lighting of the club, the section they stood in mercifully free of flashing neon lights. The teen had drawn close to her mate as they made their way through the place, Leah murmuring a soft, "Thanks," in return. She had been admiring the way the jacket and jeans fit him so well when he suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her over towards the karoke bar, not having paid much attention to the specifics of his words, listening only to the soothing sound of his voice as she drank in his gaze, bathed in his handsome light. She had to admit, dressed like this, she liked what she saw. The fae wasnt too sure about karoke though - she had never sang in front of a crowd, only to herself in the dark of the night while crying herself to sleeo in the horror that was her fathers dungeon. "Uh...Welkin, I dont really know if I can sing. I mean...Ive never sang in front of anyone before." She looked away as she pulled her hand from his and took a step back, unable to meet hos gaze, rubbing her arm a bit sheepishly. "I dont want to embarrass you. Especially not in front of other people."

Welkin looked down at Leah and gave a reassureing smile "Thats why im getting us one of the private rooms. I dont really think i can sing either.. so this way we can without the whole club being able to hear" He reassured her hoping that because they wernt going for the openmic style of karaoke where everyone could hear would help put her fears aside "You cant be any worse then i am atleast... But.. im curious to see what you sound like... please...? Just one song?" Welkin asks giving a rather cute yet will crushing pouty face to Leah. Just how could she say no? Besides what could one little song do to harm her... seeing as it would just be welkin watching and undoubitably not judgeing. This male hadnt berated her for her seer powers or theft or anything she figured everyone would mock and put her down for. Welkin had dont none of that. So why would he here?

Site Owner Posts: 550 | Leah bit her lower lip, glancing back uo at him as he spoke, then cast her eyes about the cozy room, taking in, for the first time, its more private nature. Her ears were partially back, and standing there like this, she looked like a shier, sweeter version of the Leah Welkin had come to know. What ahe could have been should she have been raised right. She didnt want to - the thought of singing aloud into a microphone, evev if it were only Welkin, gave her the creeps, and sent chills up her spine, thrills of mortal terror. But then, this was Welkin asking, and she owed him that much at least. Besides, she knew he would never mock her. Taking a deep breath she nodded, then reached out and took his hand, edging forward alongside him.

He smiles and closed the door behind them before leading her deeper into the room placeing a gentle kiss on her cheek before picking up the microphone and gently handing it to her before sitting down on the couch curiously watching to see what song she would pick. "Dont worry im sure you will do great.. Anfd even if your not so good its alright. No one is perfect and your bound to be better then i am: He reassured her gently

Site Owner Posts: 550 | Leah took a deep breath as she scrolled through the song choices, gripping the microphone in tightly in her hand. She had never sung in front of another before and her voice was untrained, something that worried her. What if she were awful? What if she made his ears bleed? Oh well, she reminded herself. There was no going back now. Picking one, something called "Crossfields" by someone named Amalee. She had never heard of either of them before, but it didnt matter. All she had to do was sing.
