Volcano Pack:                 

Matt smiled softly" your welcome Fang "he said gently. He messed with her hair a little like a father would" I'll let you get changed and ready for bed. Call for me and I'll tuck you in ok?" he said gently as he slowly got back up. 

Fang watched Matt go and dressed for bed, shaking her hair loose from the collar of the shirt.

Matt opened the door to his room and left it open. He brushed his hand over his face and glanced over to a little chest under the desk. on top of it was writen a name in pink that said Ebony. and a smaller box with blue writing that said Mark. He bit his lips and glanced at his desk a picture of him and his family... his wife hands were on her stomach that was just barly showing. His hands placed right over hers. He took a breath and got his clothes setting them on the bed. He sat down and waited. He missed being a father and now he had a chance to be one again. 

Fang looked out the window, deep in thought. She tried to remember her mother and father, but all she could remember were the other vampires and then being alone. She felt like she might have been missing them... but she couldn't recall. She felt safe with Matt though and, though he was often sad, he seemed to genuinely care about her.

Matt brushed his hair back and laid back onto the bed. he looked up at the ceiling. There was a faint faint scent of a human girl in the room where fang was.. but it was old and stail like the girl hadn't been there for at least a couple years and Nick's scent covered most of the room hiding the scent some. Matt closed his eyes for a moment waiting to hear her call for him. He did care for her a lot from the moment he first met her and felt her thoughts heard her thoughts in his car. 

Fang had settled into bed some time ago and had been sleeping peacefully, but all of a sudden her mind was plagued with horrifying imagry which scared the young vampire and caused her to whimper and cry in her sleep, unable to wake from her night terror.

Matt heard her crying and sensed her mental terror. He got up quickly and rushed to her side. he gently picked her up and held her close to him" Fang "he said gently and reached out with his mind* Fang it's ok I'm here your safe * He said trying to help calm her down and get her to feel safe again. he held her close knowing the risk of having her so close to him while she's scared. the chases of her accidently biting him were high. He didn't care about that right now and if she bit him he was fine with that. it would make him be able to protect her better. 

Fang wasn't aware of her surroundings and lashed out in defense, her nails digging into him. When scratching and clawing didn't work, she did what any frightened creature would do, she sank her teeth into him.

Matt winced and held onto her" Fang it's ok.... it's matt "he said gently and held her. He winced hard when she bit him and swallowed. He didn't panic and push her or yell at her. he didn't pull away either" ow.... easy Fang it's ok your safe "he whispered softly and gently rubbed her back hoping to get through to her. He slowly hummed a lullaby to hopefully sooth her and calm her down. He didn't know how long she would be biting him but he could feel the venom seeping in and the pain rising. He ignored it as he was focused on making sure she was ok. He just kept his mind focused on that trying to reach her both through humming and trying to metally reach her sending his comforting thoughts towards her. 

oddly enough tasting Matt's blood was enough to snap her out of it and make her lurch back away from him sharply. "I'm sorry!" she panicked, some stray plasma running down her chin "I-I didn't mean it."

Matt blinked seeing her lurch back so quickly" it's ok Fang... "he said gently and smiled. He put his hand over the bite and looked at her "I know you didn't mean too. you were having a nightmare "he said gently" Come here kiddo "he said motioning her to come over. His voice stayed gentle and kind showing he wasn't mad or scared that she bite him and was actually ok with the fact that he was going to turn.

Fang was too upset by the fact that she had bitten him to really comprehend what he said. All she knew was she had had a nightmare, Matt had apparently picked her up mid nightmare, and she had bitten him like some kind of wild animal. 

Matt slowly got up and went to her. He sat down beside her and gently wrapped his arms around her pulling her close" it's ok Fang.."he said softly gently rubbing her back hoping to at least help her calm down. He smiled gently and gently brushed the blood of her chin. He felt the venom pour through his vains and the pain that came with that. But he ignored it for now as he was hoping to help her calm down and know that it was ok..

"I'm sorry" she kept repeating, her big brown eyes watering as she fell into a full on ugly cry. "I'm so sorry Matt."

Matt frowned some and held her close to him letting her rest her head against his chest" shhh it's ok... everything will be just fine... I promise "he said softly and holding her like a father would. trying to comfort her the best he could. He hoped she would be ok with it after a while and not blame herself for turning him. He knew that once he was a vampire he would be more able to protect her and watch over her. and honestly keep up with her. 

After a while, Fang did calm down. But it was evident that it still bothered her a lot that she had been so careless. She leaned limply agianst his chest.

Matt held her gently and didn't say anything for a while until he thought she was calmed down enough. He gently brushed her hair back out of her face and wipped the tears from her eyes" hey it's ok.... I'm ok with turning... it would make it easier for me to take care of you and protect you. and really it will be a lot easier to keep up with you too when we go out and play games and stuff "he said gently and smiled" I'm really ok with this.. and your still pretty young it was a nightmare and you didn't know it was me being close to you... " he said softly hoping to bring her some reasurenece that it was ok and it wasn't her fault.

"You're not mad?" She asked carefully. "You won't make me go away because I messed up?"

Matt smiled gently and shook his head" no.. I'm not mad and I would never make you leave. I promise you will always have a home with me. "he said softly. He gently put his hand under her chin and lifted her chin up so she was looking up into his eyes. eyes that showed he cared for her" always.... and I will always care about you Fang... no matter what happens.... "he said softly.

"Promise?" Fang looked up at him, eyes still watery. She sniffed and buried her face back in his chest, clinging tightly to him like that which she truly was, a scared child.
