Volcano Pack:                 

Liz blinked and glanced at Excise. She thought she saw a hint of amusement in his eyes but she shrugged it off thinking she didn't actually see that. but then again Excise kept surprising her. hearing the officers offer. she raised a brow" sounds like a great idea "she said smoothly kind of letting that icey chip come off from when he first showed up. She rolled her eyes" oh geez thanks.... you know being in a car wreak and being shot isn't fun "she said gently and rubbed her arm forgeting that it still needed time to heal and caused the scab to rip making it bleed a little again. She tried to hide a wince and slightly cursed herself in her mind. 

Liz blinked slowly hearing this and raised a brow before following excise" See yea around Raiz" she said smoothly giving him a wave. She got into the other seat and leaned back. She winced some" lets just get our stuff and go home... dont' feel like hanging around the station longer then we have too... "she said gently" is the hotel i got on the way? "She asked calmly. wondering so she could grab a few things" if not it's alright "she said calmly. 

Raiz returned the gesture of common courtesy as he climbed into the vehicle containing the prisoner, noting with a chuckle the man was still unconcious, or perhaps he was merely cowering in untold terror in the tiny structure that was the backseat, either way, the officer didn't see that he would be a problem. As long as he was quiet for transport, and as long as they were able to lock him neatly away in a cell upon their return to the station, Raiz had no concerns, could offer no qualms. Excise waited until Liz had gotten into the car before started it, ensuring she was safely contained within the vehicle before he turned the key, listening to the rumble of the engine for a moment while he checked the mirrors. Noting it was safe, he pulled out from the parking spot along the side walk and into the dwindling evening traffic, luminescent green orbs flicking to the horizon with the mental calculation of afternoon turning to dusk and evening hours, feeling the excitement of the day beginning to catch up to him, though his jaws remained clamped together, and he did not yawn. Hearing her words, the soft noise that was her voice breaking through the silent buzz of his thoughts, Excise risked a glance at his partner, watching as she winced, knowing that the day hadn't just taken its toll on him - she had been in the thick of it as well, and considering she was a human and they didn't heal or regenerate as quickly as his kind, she must have been more than worn out. She must have been exhausted. He'd have to be sure to wrap these things up fairly quickly then - they would both have to be back at work bright eyed and bushy tailed first thing in the morning. A lovely thought, that one. He nodded in regards to her words, replying coolly, "We'll swing by the station and use the excuse that I've got to pick up the Camaro; shouldn't keep us there long that way. Afterwards to the hotel. And then home." He just called his place home because to him, that's what it was. He didn't even consider that she would most likely refer to it as "his place" - he had been out of the phase where he had friends or loved ones over for awhile now. He had no living relatives left, not after his wife and daughter's deaths, and, well, he'd always been a loner before then. The only friends he really had were on the force, and even those he kept at arms length - if they knew the truth about him they wouldn't think of him as a companion or comrade, only a rabid animal that had yet to be put in his place. Or put down, should things grow to be unspeakable and his abilities uncontainable. All the more reason to keep his heritage secret, and his powers even more so.

Liz nodded slowly and closed her eyes for a moment relaxing as Excise drived. She let out a sigh" Crappy crapppy day "she muttered to herself. She texted Peter to get the address and let him know that they were on their way

Leon had walked in to the station already dressed and ready. He looked around for a moment before clocking in on time and listening to the morning breifing although it wasnt anything exiting or noteworthy today. he hadnt gotten word about getting a partner yet

Peter walked in and sighed sore from the fight with Liz last night. He walked in and glanced around about to head to see the cheif when he spotted leon. His ears perked up and he smiled" Hey "he called over and walked over to him with a smile. last time he saw Leon was at his house after the fight broke out. 

Leon turned around cup of milk in one hand and a chocolate dougnut in the other "Peter? What happened?" He asks hoping he remembered his name correctly. "Did someone turn you? I swore you were human last time we met" He spoke hopin he also was right and that he didnt just not notice he was a wolven or something like that. "How are you? and Elza?" He asks as she was with him last he saw

He smiled and walked over to him" long story and yeah Elza did... "he said gently and picked up a dounut. He didn't smell like he had been smoking either which Leon would remember he smelled of last time he saw him" we're good.... I moved in with her shortly after we became mates "he said gently and smiled. Wow" go figure I get called out to help a fellow cop and end up meeting the love of my life "he said gently. " how are you and your family? "he asked gently. 

Leon seemed surprised and smiled a bit "Well i turned Alex and her brother and he is doing much better now. We still need to get him checked out to see how much it repaired him and if it killed off the cancer but he seemes much better.. And.. Well long story short some very interesting things are going on.. Listen.." He walked out with him to whichever car they would use so noone else could hear them talk "The senator is bad news.. we need to take him down one way or another.. He is after Alex and so far there are up to three of his children that he beat and tortured for years... Remember the club shooting? One of them was there and was escaping him and his goons with another male, her mate i think. We ran in to them a few days ago at the mall with someone we think is her brother. Its confuseing.. Alex will be able to explain it more if i cant well enough

Peter nodded slowly" understood "he said gently and frowned" so he has three kids that he's hidden from the public and has abused for years. did they know about each other at all? "he asked gently. his tail flickered and his ears went back a bit showing that this news angered him a lot. He huffed" I have a friend that can stir up trouble... the senator a wolven like us? "he asked gently. 

"I beleive so, all three of the children are full wolven. And no im pretty sure they dont know eachother.. Lucas, a famous boxer is his oldest son so far.. he tried to contact his sister Leah but she denied it was him... it seemes she got the brunt of psychological damage and the youngest.. Alaska got the most physical scarrs.. shes only.. 10 or 11 and cant even speak...

Peter snarled some hearing this" those poor kids and what why did he target Alex? "he asked smoothly. his eyes started to go dark wanting to take this guy down already" I know some people that will be willing to help us in this fight. I'm sure my friend is and maybe her partner as well "he said gently. 

"He wanted to take her to replace one of the kids..." He didnt seem happy either about it. leon was the driver today and they got to choose which car to take. "Marked or unmarked?" He asks unsure how Peter normalyl rolled. Leon preferred marked but he didnt know what kind of cop peter was, it was his choice and he didnt seem to know that yet

Peter sighed and shook his head some" maybe not to replace one of the kids maybe to get another one... though I hate to think of that "he muttered some and sighed some" at least Alex is a boxer and knows how to fight. "he said smoothly and smiled" you decide and from what I've heard your mate is undefeated in the ring since her return to the ring "he said smoothly. 

"She never told me she returned... she never really talked about it to me before... jeeze now im gonna worry even more.." He lowered his ears chooseing to use one of the newer marked chargers they had. he got in the driver side

Peter got into the passanger side of the car and nodded" yeah from what I heard she had gotten into a car accident the day of the champion ship matches. her against the current champian. She was hurt in the crash but went to fight anyways with her injuries. didn't tell anyone knowing they'd call it off and she'd have to forfet the fight... during the fight she was doing very good until the champion landing a massive hit on her cracked rib casign it to break and puncture her lung. "he said gently" at least that's what I heard from another cop who was watching boxing while he was off duty "he said smoothly. 

"Did she still win?" He asks.. if she was undefeated she would have "I never knew it was that bad... damn..." He frowns as he drove out of the parking lot "So.. Um... I guess.. you could tell me a bit about yourself? Then ill do the same, unless elza already talked you to death about me

Peter shook his head" no.... that hit took her down and she was in the hosptial for a couple days... after a few months of recovery she came back  training hard and has been undefeated ever since "he said gently and smiled. He shrugged" I don't think she likes really talking about it and really everyone should learn when it's enough to talk about when something bad happened... people should really get a life and stop bring up the past "he muttered and smiled" yeah sure and I'm sure I can learn more from you seeing you know about your self then Elza "he said gently" Well I'm from chicago and grew up around there.. I grew up with close friends.. the main ones being Liz and her brother.. we were like the three musketeers growing up... until one day I saw them return to school after being gone for a few weeks... after I heard about a bad accident that happened in her part of town... there was victums of the gang fights. that I know now were actually a fight between wolven and vampires. Her family was caught in the middle and killed. the three of us stayed close still and went into the police acadamy together. we worked hard together for many years until something happened and she was transfered here after requesting her files to be hanged and showed as incomplete.. our chief agreed knowing that if the police station here knew what she went through. they'd treat her like a damaged cop and she would have a hard time moving on from what all happened in chicago. So to give her some back up here I transfered too being so annoyed with our unit there... All they flipping talked about was what happened to the point I punched them all and told them to get a flipping live "he muttered" so I came here and gave our cheif a stern talking to after he belittled her. then went to meet up with them on a case before being a fellow cop drove by picking me up to come and give you some back up "he said gently" so All I know about you is that your from that city that burned due to some sort of out break or something the news and reports were kind of vage as to what really happened there" he said gently
