Leon let out a sigh a little more stressed from worrying about Alex wondering why she never told him before, well in detail atleast. "I was born and raised in a small town right next to raccoon city, it was me my little sister Shia and our parents.. nothing exiting really.. joined a few school programs for future lawenforcement officers as soon as i was able to and i got hired at 18 on my birthday, went through more training and was sent to Racoon city the next town over for my first day.. September 29th.. You have no idea the shit i saw there... Stopped to see some guy laying in the road all beat up.. figured he was on the bad end of a bar fight.. by now nothing too bad had happened, not a lot of cars on the road.. none actualy but it was a sleepy little town.. so i figured it was normal.. When i started to look the guy over it looked like he had been stabbed and sliced up pretty bad.. or something like mauled by someones dog.. then more of them started to shamble out of the allyways.. and the guy on the ground started moving too.. i... did what i had to do nearly paniced.." He began "I was backed up down an allyway where one of the bars backdoors were and seeing as they wernt going down i went to the door and came face to face with one of the other survivors i helped throughot that nightmare.. Clare Redfield.. Nearly shot her.. We managed to get to a nearby patrol car and started to head to the station where it would have been safer. she got a pistol from the cars glovebox before one of them in the back seat tried to get at us... we ended up crashing and nearly getting crashed into by a tanker truck with an infected driver who turned while he was on the road... we got split up there and i made my way to the station as she did as well.. i.. actualy got the whole thing recorded too.. from start to finish of the whole damn thing..

Peter listened to him and what he was telling him. He shivered at the thought of being in that type of situation.. He couldn't imagian being in that and having to see and deal with it. He swallowed" man how do you sleep after all that? " he asked gently" did you find your sister after it all started and survive together? "he asked gently.

Leon fiddled with the little bodycam that blended in on his uniform and took a sd card out of it before putting in a fresh one and slipping the used one in the patrol car's laptop letting it boot up "No.. Got to the main entrance to the gate as another survivor crashed her bike through the glass frontdoors and slammed the shutter down before any of them could get in. I got in through a second story window after climbing up some pipes" He continued and let the footage boot up which was high quality and showed everything. He reconised the bike and outfit as Elza's once he got to that part

"We found her after we got out... she found elza first then elza brought her to me... We both thought we were long gone... Shia didnt take thwe whole thing well.. like.. she has some PTSD from it..." Leon frowns a bit "She has been doing much better though... " The video continued showing Leon getting inside the police station and meeting one of the veteran officers who was wounded lyeing against some lockers, they had party decorations up and a big sign saying "Welcome to the team Leon!" He was a little late for his party it seemed. "Just to warn you... Your not gonna like what happens next in that.. id.. probably look away if your squemish.." He got a keycard to unloock the doors from the receptionist computer in the main hall before leaving the officer at his request to save anyone he can. Once he unlocked the doors he went through a large double door in to a waiting room then in to a smaller hallway.. there was a decapitated cop on the floor and suddenly the camera jolted upwards with a startled gasp from leon. What he saw looked like something staight from an ailen movie.. seemingly skinned humanoid... thing with an enorged brain and no eyes, hanging from the roof with razor sharp claws on each of its arms. All leon had at this point was his service pistol still

The footage got a little hard to follow as Leon obviously freaked out and if he was able to count the shots he could hear leon fired off all of his 18 rounds before getting past the monster slaming a door behind him. The sound of a metalic clang was heard as leon dropped the empty magizine and put a fresh one in racking the slide before seeign the state of the hallway he was in, windows to the outside borded up and everything seemed in disaray. "Its a few hours of footage.. We can watch the rest later if you want. Ive ment to show Alex but im not sure if she would even want to see it.. honestly it lookes like a horror zombie movie when you watch it.." He said as he pulled out of the parkinglot going on patrol now

"Some pharmacutical company was making bio-weapons.. Viruses that turned people in to monsters.. Their idea was to sell it to a military and then they give it to the POWs they have before returning them home and they would infect others.. but it got out.... one of their researchers refused to give up one of his viruses he had spent most of his life working on, they sent in a task and gunned him down. Before he died he injected himself with the virus.. not everyone just turns in to a zombie, like you just saw

Rebecca entered the station a bit more early then she should have. she was told they had needed her a few hours early but kept the details from her. She was honestly nervous she was getting fired or something... Seeing how she had her reservations for shooting when she really should have.. she was waiting nervously by her locker looking aroudn the rather unbusy and quite station before she was called to the kennles for some reason. figured maybe they needed her to take a look at one of the dogs who got injured

Asher pricked his ears, coming easily to the call of the kennel worker with a gentle wag of his tail and a soft woof, his tongue lolling out in an easy going pant while he sat, waiting patiently for the woman to get the leash hooked to his collar, thick fur glossy and luxurious even in the early morning light, listening to the yap of the other dogs, some of them younger and not quite as well trained as he. The eyes that were normally brown for one of his breed were a rather calm and icy blue, unusual yes, but many figured he just had some husky in his bloodlines somewhere - after all, he hadn't come from a reputable breeder, but rather, a shelter who'd had bigger plans for him than some washed up house dog, seeing as Asher was a dog that clearly needed purpose. And it seemed, more often than not, that purpose was to serve and protect. And so when left unadopted (as no one seemed to want a German Shepherd with blue eyes) he had been donated to the police station, thoroughly trained in their arts and ways before being deemed ready for a partner. They had tried many of the men and women about the station, but as of yet, none seemed a good fit, for Asher was a bit unusual. He seemed more intelligent than most animals, and though he responded well to commands and reacted quickly to harrowing situations, he just didn't seem to jive with any of the handlers they had thus far paired him with. But he hoped today might be different, and that today might finally be the day he found his one true partner, and was granted what the kennel personnel called "a forever home." However, Asher, as already noted, was not an ordinary dog....rather he, was a shifter in hiding who chose not to disclose this fact, and his uncanny ability to display a rather human like personality and intelligence, was what many had shied away from when dealing with him. Even the kennel worker leashing him in such a fumbling manner - today was only her second day, and she was still getting the hang of everything - found him uncanny, and stayed away from his cage, only coming near him if she had too. Like now - most dogs, when the door was open and the handler was having such a hard time with the leash, would have bolted and rushed for freedom. But not Asher. He just sat and patiently remained where he was until at long last she had him claspd and gave the command, rising fluidly and striding from the kennel with the ease born of a natural grace, turning his head to observe the new female coming in, a woman with short hair and smelled of a gun, though Asher could tell she had not recently fired it. He cocked his head, wondering if she were to be his new handler, feeling a small spark of connection wit the female, even if he as of yet didn't know her, and was being kept at a distance. Though he wanted to run right up, he was mindful of the silver chain that was his choker collar, and obediently heeled beside the kennel worker as she lead him up to the female, waiting patiently for the necessary introductions.

Rebecca glanced around expecting to see her superior somewhere to talk to her but once the kennle worker had walked over to her.. Once she finnaly clipped the leash to Asher that is and informed her of her new responceability her eyes widened a bit almost as if she was unsure of herself. "M-Me? But.." She was gently cut off informed it wasnt her decision. Rebecca didnt seem unhappy just rather shocked and nervous.. worried that something would end up happening and she would be in even more trouble.. She was lead into one of the more quiet rooms away from the droneing barking of the other canines so she could interact with Asher and they could get to know eachother better before their first shift. it was a small office like room and the handler unclipped the leash from Asher once they were inside and the door was closed. Becca crouched down next to Asher and shyly started to rub his ears as if testing to see if the canine approved or disappoved of such actions. Becca was rather different not jumping straight into duty and ordering him around like he was some mutt like other officers had tried.. but actualy seemed to take time with him so far. "So.. Your called Asher..? My name's Rebecca..." She spoke gently moving from his ears to the side of his neck scratching there for a little while as the handler told her his information, age breed and all that stuff. She seemed nice, almost too kind to be in this line of work. Now that she was close he could smell her scent and the smell of medical supplies also on her figure. Much more prominant then the smell of gunpowder.

Asher looked from the kennel worker to Becca with interest as she explained that this new woman was to be his handler, the golden brown plume of his tail, shaded here and there along the top with black, wagging softly as he pricked his ears and cocked his head, tongue still hanging over one side of his jaw, the prominent point of his canine teeth a startling white through the early morning light of the windows. An ear twitched as one of the younger, less well behaved dogs barked, jumping up on his kennel door and whining before starting to howl, and Asher flicked his ears back, knowing that particular little feat had done it, now the whole entire kennel would get started. He grunted as he lowered his head and pawed at his muzzle, almost as if he were a human face palming in exasperation, grateful when the kennel worker decided that it would be better to get them into another room. He followed at an easy pace, keeping by his trainer's side while he was taken to the room, which he had been too many times before, standing still as the leash was unclipped from his collar, and then proceeding to take a few steps, circle, and sit, looking up at Becca expectantly. He sniffed her hands as she reached out to him, then leaned his head into her touch with a soft whine and a thump of his tail as he wagged, showing he wasn't so hard to get along with after all, not the high energy, rambunctious beast she might have been expecting, anyway. He gave a soft woof of confirmation at her question, almost as if he understood, pressing his nose to the hollow of her throat as she began to rub the sides of his neck, sniffing as he took in her scent, and pushing his head up beneath her chin while his front paws went on her lap, then her shoulders, half standing as he pawed at her slender clavicle, barking quietly a few times, almost as if he were agreeing for her to be his handler. He could smell the medicinal supplies on her, and it tickled his nose, though all he showed of this was to prick his ears, tail still thumping quietly against the tile floor as she proceeded to caress his sides.

Rebecca had smiled and continued to go from his neck to his sides then back happily scratching and rubbing his canine form running her fingers through the soft warm fur he had before letting out a soft surprised "oof" When he accidently pushed her down. Although surpriseingly she let out a giggle and nuzzled her head under his own playfully as she reached aroudn and gently rubbed his back and sides yet again. "How could such a sweetheart like him not find a partner?" She asks the Handler, although it was sort of a retorical question knowing many of the officers may have not wanted a canine partner or the extra responceability handleing one came with. She waited till he let her back up. not able to push the canine off of her shoulders as he probably was bigger then she was. "Where do i sign?" She asks with a smile already deciding she wanted to keep him.. Which could prove a shock and delight to Asher that Rebecca and him seemed to already make a good fit for eachother. How she was so playful and affectionate. Yet also caring. She seemed rather disapointed when she was told she had to go on a shift with him first for them to evauate how they got alone but she declared she would start that shift as soon as possible today. Just so she could take him home at the end of her shift instead of leaving him here.

Asher nuzzled her as she toppled over, continuing to wag his tail, though he was careful not to hurt her - he was pretty heavy, after all, and he didn't want to squah or hurt this new female who seemed to take so well to him, causing Asher to back up and sit once more by her side as she levered herself up off the floor, nosing her shoulder as she moved, almost as if he were ensuring she were alright and remaining near in case she needed some extra help in getting up, perhaps reminding Rebecca of a service dog. Or at least an extraordinarily well behaved one. His ears flicked as he heard the handler answer her question, rhetorical it may have been, with a dry, "He's a bit uncanny, and freaks most of the other officers out. You'll see what I mean by the end of the day. You can decide if you want to keep him after your first shift." Tossing Rebecca the leash, the handler left, apparently unable to remain in the room with Asher for another moment as he cocked his head, peering up at her, then looking at Becca as she caught the rope that would bind them. He sat as still for her as he did for the handler, letting her clip the silver looking rope to the chain link mess that was his collar, standing when she indicated she was ready to go. Though happy he seemed to have found someone who would like him, and that he could get along with, Asher still worried, as they had yet to make it through the day. What if he scared her off, too? It was an unpleasant thought, and one he pushed aside as his new master lead the obedient canine from the small room, and over to her desk to grab a few things. Just before it was time to head out to patrol and square up the town, run down all the pesky criminals in the city.

Member Posts: 1821 | Rebecca had clipped the leashnto his collar the. Paused as if contemplating something. With a soft click she had unleashed him and set the rope in her pocket for now "you don't seem to need this... just.. don't run away ashen.. or else it's gonna be my ass in the fire... besides you probably shouldn't wear this on duty anyway. In case someone try's to use it against you" she rubbed his ears again for a moment before walking out with him getting all sorts of stares and looks from officers... it made her nervous and sort of get closer to her new partner as they walked. Shockingly Rebecca was the first person to stop and get his own vest. Seemingly caring more about him then the others who decided the dog wasn't worth the 5 minutes to put it on him "This will keep you safe we can take it off once our day is over.. okay?" She smiled as he held still letting her put it on him. Becca rewarded him by scratching under his chin before heading out to her patrol car with him

Asher was patient, and when she pausd, he stopped by her side, as if awaiting her decision and permitting her the control of where to go. After all, she was his new handler, if all went well, and he would have to both listen and obey. He nosed her leg into response, as if demonstrating he understood her sentiments, then heeled by her side as she walked through the door, switching sides after a brief glance at her when the others began to stare, as if placing himself protectively between her and the other officers, providing some sort of loyal support already, even now, so early in their relationship. He could sense her tension, knew her apprehension at receiving such looks. While she pushed closer to him, Asher walked fluidly close to her side, never rushing ahead or dropping behind now that he felt he was where he needed to be, stopping with her whenever she paused, and turning fluidly when she decided to turn. He didn't sit when she pulled out the vest, instead remained standing so she could put it on him properly, wagging his tail in response to her smile and words, a soft woof of affirmation leaving his lips. This is what most found uncanny about him - many dogs just sat and stared, or dully wagged their tails, cutely cocked their heads and blinked their eyes, but they didn't understand what was going on, not really. It seemed as if Asher did, and as if he were willing to work with her, if she were the same with him. He followed at a trot as she headed towards the car, jumping up in the back seat as protocol demanded since they did not yet have a perp in custody, and settling himself down for the ride, sitting down and pricking his ears as he looked out the window, by all means and appearances, fully ready and willing to go.

Rebecca did seem nervous although she smiled softly seeing how he did so.. rewarding him with a soft rub of his ears as he stood and let her put the vest on. this where others saw his intelegance shyed away or didnt want him but with Rebecca she already seemed different "Your really smart you know that Ashen?" She asks as she knelt down so she was more his level gently scratching both sides of his neck for a few moments her blue eyes meeting his. for a moment as if she reconised his higher intlect, atleast partly anyway. He hadnt shown anything extraodinary yet. Once they were in their patrol car Becca looked back at him "You okay back there..? I.. could let you ride up here. Protocall can stick it besides we are bound to have someone back there by lunch time.." She seemed as if she was offering him the choice himself if he wished to sit in the front for the first time and be close to this handler. Who seemed more and more better the more he spent time with her.

Asher chuffed softly and nuzzled his head against her chest as she rubbed his neck and ears, wagging his tail once more as she spoke softly to him, inwardly thinking to himself, You have no idea, though as a dog, he could not rightly answer her question in human means. In fact, Asher was no ordinary animal - no, he was a shifter, a being who had an animal form and a human form, whose species had been forced into hiding by powerful persecution of the Wolven, creatures who were bred and made by the humans to annihilate anything they felt threatened by, or had deemed a monster. In the end, the humans had turned even on them, fearing the awesome beasts they had created, leaving the Wolven in the same boat as all the other species they had hunted. But unlike those other species, the Wolven had thrived in environments all their own, and even now continued to grow and flourish, despite the current war they were having with the vampires. Asher looked at her when she spoke to him, pricking his ears and barking an affirmination that he was alright, though he was grateful for the offer, which he displayed by poking his nose through the barred window and softly nuzzling her head. He knew it wouldn't be long before they had someone, and the dog couldn't wait to go on that first run - he was full of life, full of energy, and fully ready to leap into action head first. It seemed he would get his wish. Even as Rebecca pulled out of the station, the radio chirped and crackled to life, a call about a drug bust coming through, and the need for a canine unit to respond in order to properly search the car.

"Looks like we are in luck" She commented to Asher before radioing back "This is car K-9 22 we are enroute" Before starting up the new dodge charger and heading out to the streets sirens turning on. Rebecca was a little heavy on the pedal showing she too was eager for this one. She pulled up to the scene and hopped out of her car before letting the unleashed Asher out of his backseat area and into the passanger side grass.. as she didnt want him or her squished by a car paassing by. "Cmon boy lets go see what we have" She encouraged him before walking over as the driver and other officer seemed to be argueing about weather or not he was in the right to search the car "Oh im not searching your car.. i dont have the cause to.. but if that shepard over there lets me and the other officer know you have anything you shouldnt have in the car ill have all the reason in the world to search every nook and cranny in this thing" He crossed his arms a bit before looking to becca and asher nodding rebecca spoke "Go on Ashen.. he got anything?" She asks leading him all around the car before he started to paw at one of the tire wells that had a large amount of druges ductaped out of sight in it. And as soon as he alerted the passanger swung open the door hitting becca sending her off balance as the driver attacked the other larger mael officer with a knife. becca stumbled back a bit and saw the criminal brandishing a pipe taking a swing at Ashen to keep him away before heading to becca thinking the dog would be scared off with his shouting and such... oh how wrong he was
