The park is the closest thing to nature that the Forbidden City offers, a small patch of green to offer just a glimpse of the wild world, just a taste of dampened freedom. While it used to be frequented at all hours of the day, even in the dusk, since the rise of the vampires it is often deserted in the wee, dark hours of the morn and at all instances in the shadowed shade of the night.

Kazuki walked in to the park in the early hours of the morning. His dire wolven scent standing out to anyone who was nearby. He knew vampires came out in this time and perhaps that was why he was here. He wanted a good fight Kazuki needed one. He set his rucksack down next to  a park bench before sitting down on the bench himself. He let out a sigh rubbing his eyes seeming visably fustrated. He needed work but that wasnt what was bothering him. He would apply at the station here knowing his history as a riot officer would easily get him in. tensions between humans wolven and vampires could spark one. Then he would have his purpose again. Perhaps form a new pack, a new unit. But those thoughts were pushed away. Kazuki couldnt stop thinking about her, seeing her face wherever he looked. It was like she was haunting him.

Anja tumbled forth from the outer edges of the park, the white furred teen's quick pace landing her klutzy paes in a whole heap of trouble as one front leg crashed into another, sucessfully tripping her up in such a manner as to send both Anja and the pup called Snow careening into the earth and tumbling down the hillside. There was a moment of sudden silence that followed the horrendous avalanche of noise that accompanied their arrival, and a brief pause - mentally Anja was scrambling to pull herself together again. Sitting up, she moved swiftly, bouncing back onto her hind legs in record time, front paws splayed in front of her, ordinarily pristine white and blue coat ruffled and sticking up in a few places, and twigs with bits of leaves poking out from the protection of her fur. "I'm okay!" The youth of a female chirped, swiveling those luminescent green eyes about, taking in their surroundings. Perhaps there was a brain in that seemingly empty head after all - Anja was checking out who happened to be around them and attempting to determine exactly where they were. "You?" The juvenile asked as she twisted about to regard the snowy white essence of the pup before her, one ear bent backwards and folded inside out, the other perking acutely forward.

Snow shook the dirt from her fur and took a few hazy steps before falling on her tail and crying.

Kaz had heard the commotion and crashes of the two collideing and rolling in to the park area. Seeing that they both were Wolven and also seemed as if they had been on the run from something he had made his way there leaving his bag behind. He walked over twards them his footsteps echoing off of the stone path for a moment when he stepped on it then off in to the grass. "Are you two okay? what happened?" Kaz asks wondering if his size may scare the two more than whatever had chased them and for the first time in a while Kaz actually seemed to worry for someone rather than just depend on himself, but why? he couldnt figure that question out just yet.

Anja had lowered her ears with a whimper when Snow began crying, crouching down next to her and proceeding to comfortingly lick the top of her head. "I'm sorry - didn't mean to fall like that. Are you alright? Anything hurt?" She was distracted by the sound of an approaching footstep, the yoyng fae pulling her head up and regarding Kaz with a flicker of worry, apprehension prickling her pelt - he was quite large and moved with the gait of an experienced warrior. Anja would recognize that walk anywhere. "W-who are you?" She questioned, ragged fur bristling, stepping protectively in front of the pup before her - after all, she had dragged Snow into this, might as well safeguard her. She fluffed, a comical effect, given the female's current state ans appearance.

Kaz frowned a bit, he had to have scared both of them now. Then again who wouldnt feel intimidated if someone nearly 7 foot approached them. He wondered if they could also smell he was a dire wolven or not. "My name is Kazuki Fuse. im not going to hurt either of you.. i just heard a commotion and wanted to see what happened." Eventhough Kaz was experianced and kept the walk of a warrior at this moment he was actually showing he ment no harm. "Who are you? if you dont mind me asking." He asks politely. Perhaps Kaz wasnt just a warrior, something was off giving him that title.

Snow backed away from Anja, she would have been better off in the mountains, all this stupid adolescent had done was drag her into more trouble. She whimpered and shrank as the man approached.

Anja swiveled an ear in response to Snow's movements, following her clever idea to continue backing away, it seemed as good as any they'd had thus far, and if worst came to worst the pair could always turn tail and run. There was no shame in retreat. Particularly if he was Dire....which the faint whiff of his scent the girl managed to catch confirmed that he was. Whelp, that was it. They were screwed. Completely, utterly, and royally screwed in every sense of the word, each and every single given connotation. Still, he was speaking to them, and, more out of a desperate attempt to stall than anything else, Anja found she simply had to reply. "Right...and my mother's the queen of England. Most people won't come near a Wolven, and Dire Bloods usually despise us modern Wolven. Wanna try a different answer?" One had to admit, Anja had spunk, though the youth was severly lacking in the judgement department. It couldn't hurt to give him her name though...could it? He had given his. First name only, she silently told herself, though with a name as unique as hers, it would be easily traceable. Furrowing one brow, flicking one ear back, she gave an uncertain response, "Anja." It was a bold move, calling a Dire Wolven by the ancient and insulting term of Dire Blood - not that Anja knew that. She had merely heard the term.

for Aki:

Kaz lowered his ears a bit at the insult but didn't let it get to him much. He had been called much worse before anyway. "Anja if I wanted to attack you I would have already.. Yes I am a Dire Wolven but what does that have to do with anything?" Kaz felt honestly a bit saddened. Everyone was so fearful of him in this new land he had traveled to. "You have my word I'm telling you the truth. Anja." He let them back away from him not intending to scare them even more. Part of him wondered if he should just give up and return to the park bench.

Anja opened her jaws to reply but then closed them, at a rare loss for words for once in her young life. He had a point - he could have already attacked and demolished them. "Hm." She gruffed, tail about half way at her sides, for the first time noticing her ear was bent back, "Even so. I don't know you, Kaz. How do I know you speak the truth? This is the city after all...at least," she paused, looking around their surroundings once more. "I think its the city. Yo, Snow," Anja turned to the pup, suddenly less tense and more trusting, which may have seemed odd to Kaz, given her previous statement. "Calm down and come over here. I think we've found a new friend. For all the fact we're in the city itself." She sat herself down, reaching up and pawing at the bent earcto correct it, sighing once she had done so - that felt a lot better, to say the least. "Either of you ever been?" She glanced back at Kaz, who was staring at her open mouthed, not quite following what had just happened. So of course, Anja felt the need to enlighten him. "The question about how to know you're telling the truth? Rhetorical. I don't know you so I wouldn't be able to tell anyway. All I can say to warn you is that if you hurt either of us my Momma will hunt you down. And proceed to end you. Painfully. With evisceration." Anja's tone was rather frighteningly chipper. Almost as she had heard or seen her mother threaten or do this before, and it was just another strangely normal thing.

Snow once more wanted nothing to do with Anja and instead darted out of her reach to hide somewhere.

Kaz couldn't help but give a slight smile seeing Anja fix her ear "Your in the city's park. I take it you never have been in to a city before?" He asks curiously before glanceingn over to his bag before going to get it "I don't want anyone trying to take my stuff hold on" he grabbed the large duffle bag and carried it back over to where he was before so he could keep an eye on his belongings easier. "You two live in a pack then? Or something similar?" Kaz asks wondering if theynperhaps would accept him in to it. He realized he was talking a bit much. "S-sorry for rambleing it's just.. your the first two to not just run when they seen me waking over..." his ears lowered a bit in sadness

Anja snorted in laughter at his apology for speaking, responding with, "Dude, have you met me? I'm pretty sure I can out talk you any day. Now where did Snow get off to? I need to find her. She really doesn't needcto be out here alone. Especially in the city." The young female's tail waved in response to his claim of gathering his things, showing it was alright, she didn't really care if he happened to walk away from them for a moment. They could always take care of themselves once more, if they had to. Though Anja certainly wouldn't mind the company Kaz provided - she was, after all, a people person. Upon receiving his question about a pack, Anja chuckled, as if very thoroughly amused by the thought. "Pack? Nah, I happen to be traveling with just my mom. I found Snow all by herself in the mountains, and couldn't really leave her there to die of starvation or cold." She crouched down then, wriggling the front half of her body up unerneath whatever it was Snow happened to be hiding under, rear end sticking up and tail waving, kind of like a giant puppy. "Right, Snow?" Anja asked, grinning goofily from ear to ear at the success of having found her.

Snows response was to reach out a paw and swat at Anja's muzzle "LEAVE ME ALONE!" she shrieked at her. "I didn't WANT to go with you. you've RUINED my life and now I can't even find my home."

Kaz seemed a bit surprised at how Snow was reacting. He hadnt known the two for very long, for all he knew Snow could be kidnapped by Anja but he wouldnt stick his nose in to buisness like that. But he would offer his help to both of them. As far as he knew they both could use protection and Snow could use a helping hand finding her way home "I know the area around here pretty well. I could help you find your way back if you tell me some details about where you live" Kaz offers yet stayed standing where he was.

"It's none of your business!" She snapped at him, looking back the way they had come.

Anja rolled her eyes, at first instinctively flinching at the swat, then flattening her ears at the shriek. "Calm down there, fluffball," she returned, pulling her out from underneath her hiding space and putting her gently upon the ground. "I may not be your mom or sister, but you wouldn't have lasted in the mountains on your own. We'll find a new home. Mom said something about a pack nearby, but I don't know exactly where it is. Or her, for that matter." Anja blinked, comprehending fully for the first time they were really lost. Oh well, couldn't be helped. It was better than being eaten by a ghost. If ghosts even needed to eat. Anja wasn't sure about that one. Glancing back at Kaz she shrugged as if in apology for Snow's behavior. Though she had taken Snow from the mountains without permission, she didn't seem the malicious type. No, Kaz most likely woyld have thought her to be a rather ditzy blonde in her human form, though he could not have guessed further from the truth, as he would see if she had shifted. All Anja had wanted to do, really, was help.

Snow immediately skittered out of Anja's reach. "I dont' WANT a new home! I WANT you to leave me alone." She growled, fluffing her fur out, which was even less intimidating that Anja's earlier attempt.

Kaz didnt think Anja was clueless and could tell she wanted to help. Although taking Snow without permission from her home didnt sound good to him "Hey hold on.. If she has a home she has every right to return to her home... But joining up in to a pack also is a good idea. Well.. its good if they are an actual carign family like pack and not a street gang.. Kaz tensed up suddenly and lunged foward tackleing in to Anja. When they landed Kaz rolled to the side and drew his pistol firing three times in to a seemingly unsuspecting bush causeing a pale skinned vampire to lifelessly come crashing out of it. Anja could see a small throwing knife was embedded in the tree she was standing infront of "We should get out of here before more show up, You said you were staying with your mother?"
