Damon had went to rise from his seat as well, believing the conversation finished and that it was time he return to his duties when Victoria spoke once more, and the young male stifled any attempt at apparent escape. Even if it had only been work related. Though used to the passing of such vehicles through the normal rounds he commenced with each night - he usually was forced to hide from such patrols - this one (or perhaps his leader's interest in its destination) gave him a slight case of the shivers. As a chill passed by his spine, Damon felt a familar flush of heat, one that signaled the awakening of his power - the ability to both create and control fire. This did not bode well for them, particularly upon the approach of the officer himself. Still, the male gave no sign of his discomfort outwardly, merely met the shapely blonde's worried eyes with a discretely mouthed, "Stay calm. Remain seated." The sentiment was hidden from normal view by the fact that he had raised his hand to rest the sharply defined structure of his chin in its pale surface.

When the fae met the cops gaze, her eyebrows raised in surprise but her face quickly shot down. Perhaps an old friend? But why would she hide her face in such a way to a friend? Only the Sire knew. Of course she knew. But only to such an extent. "Ma'dam." He spoke, holding onto his belt, holding the stereotypical cop lean. Still looking down, Aphrodite rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath. Victoria held a snear when she replied, "Sir. How may I help you this fine evening?" Thunder clouds crashed together to make a wonderous crash from the skies, how ironic. The cop broke the gaze, looked around, looked at the 'punk', then the 'slut'. "Quite the group you're accepting now." Wrong answer, but the Sire knew better to attack in broad daylight. "Get to the point." She snapped, her cloud-filled eyes became an electric lavender. "Two of your men have been taken into questioning. Harassing some woman, named Alex?" Growing more purple by the minute, her orbs turned to Damon. "Oh really? Well, release them. They're innocent." A wad of cash was nonchalantly given to the cop who discretely tucked it away in his pocket. "See you later." The cop said, then leaned down, whispered, "Slut" to Aphrodite, before hitting her shoulderblade and leaving. The pale vampiress would grow even more, her lips pursed, and a mix of emotions whirled in her orbs.

"He'll be dealt with, Aphrodite... Slowly, but no later than tomorrow night." Victoria offered, rubbing where he gave her a rather harsh pat. "And Damon, like I said, take care of it." The Sire got up and grabbed her designer purse, which was a gift from Aphrodite. Aphrodite followed the Sires movements, accepted her embrace, kissed her cheek, then grabbed her stuff as well. "Now I've got 2 little boys to take care of. I want to hear from you in 2 days on the turning. Its an urgent occurance, otherwise I wouldn't ask so soon." A nod concluded the conversation. As the Sire flitted off into the alleyways, Aphrodite turned to grab her bags but ignored eye contact with Damon.

Damon watched the man as he approached, not liking the way he carried himself, the arrogance he so clearly held. Weak willed human. He was nothing more than a pig, the way in which he looked at Aphrodite confirmed it. Well, should he push the issue, Damon would be gladly inform him of his likeness to the swine upon which people so often dined and in no way would it be anywhere near pleasant. A soft hiss emanated from his maw, the ivory curvature of a glimmering fang evident as one lip twisted to display the weapon in a warning gesture. Many would have taken it as a reaction to the officer's insult, but perhaps the Sire knew differently. Most likely she would have, and perhaps, privately, she would wonder when this change occurred. When had Damon become so protective, and over Aphrodite no less? He had always been responsible, cunning. Conniving as well as efficient. Remarkable qualities for one so young, and it made him an ideal second in command. But he always, too, had been distant, especially when it came to his own kind, and full of a restless energy. That the youth of a vampire, a mere fledgling by his people's standards, would demonstrate, even so discretely and in a somewhat subtle manner, those protective instincts, indicated that perhaps he was finally settling down. Then again, given his tendency to fight first and ask questions later, perhaps not. It was a miracle he kept his seat and did not immediately head off after the vile man. He said nothing, however, knowing his Sire would disapprove. And so he remained seated, and waited for the moment to pass. Upon discovery of the reason for the policeman's visit, Damon could not help but wince. So much for having it handled. As Victoria rose, dismissing the matter with her final commands, the male dipped his head, murmuring in a rasping whisper of a voice, "Of course, my Sire. Reese and I will personally see to it tonight. The orders for turning shall be relayed immediately." With a soft hiss of irritation, Damon rose from his chair once their leader had gone, stretching gracefully. He made no eye contact either, merely murmured with a sigh, "I suppose I should walk you home."

Aphrodite remained silent as she cleaned up the table and would make it easy for the bus-boy to clean. Once she was done, she pulled some hair out of her face and behind her ear. "I can support myself." A subtle hiss could be heard when she passive agressively put on her sunglasses. Despite the cloudy weather, the light was still sort of harsh to her orbs, plus the sunglasses acted as a facade. "I suppose you could, though." A light pink pigmented her cheeks; but as the street lights dimmed in color, so did the pinkness of her cheeks. She didn't think it was obvious she was using her powers to hide, so it didn't concern her much that Damon would notice. Besides, she knew something was whirling around in that mind of his, something always was. "Devils lil helper huh?" She snickered and tugged the sleeve of his shirt before she started to walk the city streets.

Damon raised a brow at response, tucking his hands into his pockets whike he idly observed her cleaning. "Leave it for the human," he suggested, though he knew she would do no such thing. However, he couldn't resist the urge to get in a little dig - she had left herself wide open for it, after all. "Right," he all but purred in reply, his smooth voice rolling the syllables for good measure. "That would be why I normally have to come to your rescue on an almost nightly basis. You sure can show that trainer of yours who's boss." As they began to walk, Damon pretending not to notice the slight flush that heated her cheeks - he was to busy attempting to conceal his own - he offered her his arm, permitting the female to loop the slender structure of her limb within the strong embrace of his own. He was proper, that one, and though he and the blonde often foughtlike cats and dogs, he treated her with the utmost respect - when they weren't bickering, of course. "Hm," he responded to her comment about Damon himself being the devil's helper, his mind roaming about the different possibilities for carrying out his two separate missions in the quickest, most efficient way possible - and, should that officer show up, how he might repay the man's earlier kindness...in blood, that was.

The little comment Damon made sent her straight up and caused her to laugh. "Excuse you. I have saved you plenty of times as well, and in fact, I think I was the most recent rescuer." She sneered, her smile curling slightly into a devious grin. "The bar, remember?" She cooed, her arm wrapping around his and then her free one cupping her bicep. It all happened so quickly, her mind still in survival mode from seeing the cop, so it took her a minute to see the position she was in; which only made her blush more.

(Bringing up the cop, I'm bored and need stuff to write so xD)

"You b-tch!" Screamed a voice from the crowd, a tan finger escaping the crowd to follow. "Get over here!" Aphrodite turned her head to face the finger directly but wouldn't take a step forward. A body came out the crowd that was attached to the finger, but the badge from earlier was missing. "You got me fired.!" Aphrodite leaned up to Damons cheek and whispered, "Damn, she works fast." She would giggle subtly afterwards, if the cop didn't swiftly grab her from her hair and yank her to his side. She hissed loudly, her fangs instinctively growing and sharpening. Although she put up with this under a rape drugged haze, now was a different story. "You are not paying me to pull my hair, and frankly thats not my d-mn job anymore, douche." She hissed, grabbing his arm and ripping it off her. "Do you possibly think I care? Your lil protector isn't here, and frankly, your frail lil a-- got me fired. You've got to pay." To even be a poseable threat to Aphrodite, means to be a poseable threat to a vampire in general. No human could do it empty handed, but he wasn't. The cop knew his actions would have to be 100% and quick, quicker than her. Once he handcuffed her, he grabbed her shoulders and kicked her spine, which sent her to her knees in screaming anger/pain. "Now this is embarrassing." She growled, trying to get up.

Damon had just opened his jaws to reply, keenly aware of how her hand was draped over his arm, a slight flush warming his cheeks once more, the already unusually warm heat emanating from his form increasing ever so slightly. Could it be...big, bad Damon, the vampire known for his reckless behavior and the fact he never passed up a fight was...embarrassed? Hm. A shocking concept, for one such as him, and not one to be taken lightly by any means. The angry shout of a voice interrupted his thoughts, and smothered the strangely gentle tone of voice he had been about to use, the dark haired blood sucker's eyes flashing from stormy gray to a brilliant red, a vibrant hiss escaping his lips as he followed Aphrodite's lead, and turned to face the onslaught of anger that was present in the form of such swine. A smirk graced his devilishly handsome features as he responded to Aphro's comment, murmuring in reply, "I've come to expect no less of her." When the human male reached out to grab his associate by the hair and pull her to his side, Damon reacted almost immediately - well, he started to step forward, at least, until Aphrodite ripped the uncouth creature's hand from her golden locks, giving the the male who was her current companion pause, permiting her the opportune chance to handle things herself, and to demonstrate just what it was she had learned. However, he would not stand for such treatment when the former officer abused her in such a way, and Damon was at his tjroat in moments of Aphrodite's cry, his jaws opening to reveal the wickedly curved structure of his fangs even while his fingers wrapped firmly about the ex-peace enforcer's throat, the unusual heat that emanated from his body increasing with the sound of a guttural, almost hissing growl, the red irises ofbhis eyes flickering with barely controlled blood lust, and an almost overwhelming urge to kill. "Now is that any way to treat a lady?" His deceptively soft voice asked, even as he lifted the man from the ground, almost as if the middle aged adult were no more than a frail child who weighed something akin to a feather. "Aphrodite." When Damon next spoke, it was just as soft, just as deceptive. "Are you able to stand, or shall I bring him to you?"

It would be a lie to say Aphrodite expected Damon to react in such a way that he did. Sure; he had quite the temper, but to jump into a fight that's not even his? The frail woman absorbed the energy of the man and stood up slowly. Her hands supporting herself against her knees as she gasped for a few breaths. "Thats no lady!" The former officer chuckled through aspirated breaths. "Take a look at her, man. You think a lady looks like that. Like some dead sl-t?" The man tried to kick the fiery vampire in his stomach, or anywhere to give him some leverage of getting down. His hands reaching in his pocket only to remember the gun was taken away along with his badge.

"F-ck." The man would mutter to himself before trying to pry Damons hands off him. "If you don't kill him first, bring him to me. I need a second." If she wasn't caught off-guard, Aphrodite would be completely unphased after healing. But from draining the energy, to using it just enough to get up, it was too taxing for her, especially when she's surviving off blood cupcakes at the moment. Hair would fall into Aphrodites face in the most beautiful mess, not even a small lock of hair could hide the luminance of her blue eyes. Her blue eyes though, became an electric cyan, to such a degree that it was rumored streams of lightning escaped her eyes. She raised from leaning on her knees and looked at Damon, awaiting his next move.

"HEY. HEY WAIT." The man urgently wailed. "I have a wife and kids, man. Please, we can talk this out." Aphrodite looked at him with disdain, "Oh that just makes it worse dude. You cops." She hissed, not being able to wait any longer. "Are all so corrupt. I can't believe kids fear me and look up to you. If only they knew." Her hiss forming into the thunder that surrounded them, bellowed and enough to send the most fearful out of their shoes. "Oh no.. You're going blue." She held an obviously fake pout and leaned on her hip. "

The smile Damon gave to the former policeman's chuckle as he made his opinions known about just what a lady was happened to be most unnerving, and if he hadn't further tightened his grip, the officer might have managed something otjer than a few breathless sentiments, and something a bit more...effective than the pathetic attemprlt at an assault upon the fire theme vamp who just so happened to be holding him so high from the earth- or at least, what would be considered high for the human, his feet unable to grace the ground below with even the softest elements of a kiss. The grin that graced Damon's otherwise handsome face was eerie, the shivering white of his fangs just visible against the darkened flesh of his lips - it seemed as if he had carelessly permitted them to pierce his own flesh. Again. Which only made his appearance all the more unsettling once his tongue flicked out to lick his lips, wiping awau the delicate morsels of such precious moisture. "Hm. And swine doesn't go about spouting off an opinion, yet here you are. Seems we've both been proven wrong." Upon Aphrodite's request, Damon eased his grip with a slight growl of affirmation, though the blonde female could clearly see it cost him quite a bit of effort. And no small amount of control. Seemed there was more to him than meets the eye. His own orbs were an unwavering red, their usual color when all he seemed to portray was frustration and anger, though theu were nothing compared to tje pale cyan of Aphrodite's blue. The combination of jer golden locks and lightning colored orbs would have been enoug to render him breathless, should he have been less distracted. And yet, the man's piteous mewling rang in his ears, even as Damon forcibly relaxed his hold enough to eliminatw the danger of killing him, glancing over at the other male as Aphrodite began to pout at his turning blue. "So he is. Pity. I had hoped he was more durable than this." Damon commented upon this idly, tossing the sorry excuse for a creature at tue female vampire's feet, standing upon the opposite side, hands tucked once more into his pockets. Just another day's work, so it would seem. "Take him. He's yours." Damon sneered at the human who shriveled and wailed, coughing breathlessly for what seemed like an eternity after the deadly pressure upon his windpipe was released. He did not, however, comment on the earlier rant involving fear and children, or who it was they chose to worship as heroes, that was their business, not his.

As Aphrodite watched his anger ever-so subtly grow and succumb him to a fearful beast, but to her, he was simply more enticing. She watched his muscles slowly relax just enough for the man to catch his breath, color returning from its cyanosis with every gasp of air he would inhale. It was a pity for her, to truly understand the fragileness of humanity, and have the capability to murder one with a simple contraction of a collection of muscles. She couldn't possibly take his life, she wasn't that person, it would hold her conscious down until it drowned her. But; she did have the morals to severely maim him. So with that, she planned to do so. "Thank you..." She murred, taking the man and quickly took him into a dark alley and away from civilization. When she got to the destination she desired, she ripped open a hole in the mans torso using a finger cuff that had a jagged edge. Her and her specialized weapons, and their strange cosmetic purposes. With a scream, Aphrodite silenced the man with a quick slit to the throat. "Please be quiet." She spoke, collecting some of the blood in several viles. To any other, besides Damon and the Sire of course, would think silencing him made it easier for her to be discrete, but the roots of the issue reached much deeper than getting away with a crime. His cries would haunt her in the dream realm, it would haunt the very back of her mind just like the other lives she's taken away. His life force began to decrease almost rapidly as blood gushed from his wounds and flooded the surrounding area. "Crap." Her voice was hasty, angsty. "Crap crap crap CRAP." She grabbed at her temples trying to think of what to do, his life draining by the second. The thought of Damon curved her attention, drawing her eyes to him, and suddenly; it was like her mind cleared. She knew exactly what was to be done, and because of that; her electric blue eyes dimmed slightly, just enough to expose her pupils. From the side of the neck, Aphrodite leaned down and pierced the skin, and tainted his bloodstream with the virus. As the virus began to pulsate through his circulatory system, his wounds would decrease in blood shed, and as soon as it reached his heart, his wounds would heal rapidly. "You are a slave, to the gang now. You will serve under the fledglings, the lowest in the gang. Meaning, you will be more worthless than dirt that I step on." She scowled, and since she is a little princess, her commands would be granted by the Sire. "If you do not wish this fate, kill yourself." Damon never heard this voice she used, only at the bar, when the lights all shot out. It was scary, bellowing, yet it was still smooth as silk. Her angelic- yet macabre- hymns stopped when she gave the man a nod and fixed her dress. Aphrodite noticed Damons chosen silence, her face growing solemn. Was it possible he was ashamed? Ashamed to even be around a former human trafficking victim? To secure her pride, she planned to explain it later. "I got blood on my dress.."

Damon watched blandly as she ferried the human male off to tje alleyway, following after a few moments, his step slow and even, the feral features ever present on hos leanly handsome face, the dark crimson that were his eyes glittering with a sublimated bloodlust - even if it were just barely reigned in. He remained by the entrance of the gaping darkness, almost as if the man were standing in a protective guard of a watch, determined that none should interrupt his colleague while she was in the midst of her torturing punishment. He radiated a predatory aura so powerful that most steered well clear of the alley without even so much as a glance, simply a shiver down the spine and a quickening of pace. He glanced towards Aphrodite when she began to panic, the epitome of calm, or so it would seem to the female vampire in her heightened frenzy of a state, raising a brow as if to ask, "Now what are you going to do?"the very moment he witnessed the blood flow, the scent giving him a slight head rush with its dizzying aroma, though he managed to retain control, even if it were only by a thread, and even if everything in him screamed to pounce upon the vile creature and suck him dry. He wasn't so disturbed at how the blonde silenced her prey - no, indeed, he considered it a blessing, as the former officer's cries were quite irritating to his already tauntly pulled nerves. Once she had finished and stepped from the darkness of which the female seemed to materialize like a goddess from the mist, Damon promptly offered his arm, intending to finish his previous task of escorting her home. "Exemplary. Though I would have ensured permanent silence by taking the liberty of removing his tongue." A quick glance at her clothing confirmed the stains' presence, and it was difficult for Damon to pull his gaze away afterwards to retain what was left of his moral standing. But he did it anyway, murmuring, "So you have." His voice was soft and quiet, not quite as calm as his outward appearance would have one believe, and his body was still far too warm for it to be normal, in addition to the fact he was taunt, his muscles tense, the predatory gleam still clearly evident in his walk.

The woman playfully pouted, trying to facade the horrors she just committed with her normal chipper attitude. "Tongue, hmm. Maybe next time, and you can do it." She spoke, rewrapping her arm around his. A pleasant smile formed from her bloodstained lips and she made an audible sound of enjoyment, clinging closer to his arm as his warmth radiated onto her otherwise cold surface. "You're warm, are you okay?" It was a sudden change of attitude, but her mind was out of whack to revert itself back into a mocking brat; for right now atleast. Her heels were lifted as she stood on her tip toes and felt his forehead to see if his warmth was a symptom of an illness. When her innocent blue eyes met Damons, she furrowed her brows and stiffened against him, toughening up her exterior and playfully messing his hair up. Her blonde hair fell to the arch of her back, bouncing happily behind her as they continued to take their stroll, a lock or two carelessly falling in her face only to be quickly pinned behind an ear. Her lips and dress seeming to unphase her, but was quite the eye-sore for fellow citizens. The time it would take to get to the house became the subject to her thoughts as more people were caught staring in confused horror. The insecurity bothered her, not because of the ruined dress, but because of the crowd she was gathering. It wasn't exactly smart to take the main streets to the house, and because of that thought; Aphrodite tugged at Damons arm towards an alley-way. "Let's take the back roads, alright? I don't want to attract the wrong crowd." Her sentence implying any form of a snitch, or even worse; a pig itself.

"Hmm. Nothing would please me more," he purred in response. And truly, he would gladly perform such a task or deed, especially when it came to swine such as that particular pig. He didn't seem to be bothered by the stares of the public, going so far as to curl his lip in disdain whenever they dared to turn their gawking gazes upon them. He was surprised, however, when she suddenly stopped in front of him, blinking in stunned silence as she rose on tip toe to check his forehead, the dark crimson that were his eyes flickering before their true coloring bled through, the irises shifting to a beautifully light tone of gray, his mouth opening just a bit, one fang poking over the bottom of his lower lip, the taut thrum of feral energy that had pulsed so eagerly through his veins slowing, then stopping completely, apparently tamed by the gentle kindness she expressed with such concern. There was a softness in his gaze that she had never witnessed before as their eyes met, accompanied by a vague hollowness left by tradgedies past, though the moment passed when the female leaned up to ruffle hid hair, hifing and denying what had just occurred between them with an effectivr switch in gears, knowing neither of them were anywhere ready for that possibilty. Instead, he hefted an aggravated sigh, permitting her to take the lead again so that they might continue down the street, grumpily replying, "Is that really necessary? Besides, you know good and well why I'm warm. Its called pyro powers." He continued to grumble beneath his breath as the pair walked, though he continued to allow the female use of his arm, turning his eyes upon her sharply as she suggested the back ways - the main streets would be quicker, but understanding her reasoning and logic. "Very well," he consented, though he let her have the freedom to choose their path.

Aphrodites cheeks flushed a warm pigmented pink when she exposed Damons soft side, the greying of his eyes calmed the piercing blue of her own, but her sunglasses hid most of the pigment. The glare of his orbs haunted her even after she broke the gaze, feeling the pain they witnessed with great empathy. Her giggle hid her emotions well as she observed the ruffling of his fur. "Yes, it's necessary. There was something in your hair... a bug!" She made a face, swatting an imaginary bug with her pale hand. "And oooh, goody. When did you discover that?" She tilted her head.

As they reached her apartments, she stuck a key in one of the mailboxes, turned it, and let it swing open. (Cont. at the apartments)
