Site Owner Posts: 550 | Konata panted as she raced across the forested terrain, her pink tongue lolling as her limping gate became apparent, her left front leg looking rather useless, even though she moved it as quickly as she could. It dragged, the vivid pink of the puckering scar tissue apparent even through the thick black gloss of her lupine fur. Konata had changed back into her animal form when she had decided to follow Thanatos, her overly large ears pricking forward as she sucked in a breath. The air was laden with smoke, and only her lower posture kept her from inhaling the dark fumes. The shock of her bangs covered one of her silver eyes, and the soft shock of her upper fangs drifted down below her tapering maw. She paused for a brief second as she attempted to locate what she supposed she could call a faint friend, surging forward as she caught sight of him with strangers, something that in her experience, was not a good sign. "Thanatos!" She called in her thin, wavering voice, just before her silver eyes flew wide and she tumbled, having tripped over the leaden limb that was her paw, and tumbling head over heels the rest of the way down.

Thana turned and ended up getting crashed into by Kona ending up flat on his back nose to nose with her taken by surprise. (small but to the point xD)

Trill smirked at Thanatos before shrugging her shoulders in 'no biggy' kind of manner. "Yes, this is my doing. Well... the undead hord was my doing. The burning barn was a result of my servant, Severus." She quipped, already refering to poor Sev as her servant. "I am Trill, the greatest necromancer to ever walk this earth. And this," She introduced herself and Sev with a sweeping hand gesture. "Is the mage Severus, my faithful undead servant."

Site Owner Posts: 550 | "Oof!" Konata yelped as she tumbled into the male, her ears going back as she realized what position they had ended up in. Her shyness returning, the apprentice scrambled off of him, glancing at the other two as she sat upon her haunches, away from Thanatos' side, wavering as if unsure of where to go or what to do. Trill, if she so desired, could see Konatas aura, which revealed that the young Dire Blood was a necromancer as well, though she seemed poorly cut out for the part - spirits made her skin crawl, and her fur was fluffing from being near so many of the undead, whether they were currently mobile or not. Poor souls, she thought with a glance in their direction before averting her eyes. She had backed up quickly, whispering to Thana, "I-i-i-im s-s-sorry. I d-didnt mean t-to run into y-y-you." She did not address either Trill or Sev, only watched them carefully with her molten silver eyes, her black and gold pelt glittering in the dying light.

Thanatos picked himself up off the ground "its alright... You didnt mean to just glad your not effected by my curse..." He murmers to her softly. He looked over to Sev and Trill "So.. your a necromancer.. and your someone she revived?" He asks tilting his head a bit "Never really met a necromancer before... Untill a few hours ago.. So.. What were you two doing? Why were you raising so many undead to attack him?" Thana asks politely as if he had no issues with being in the precense of a necromancer that was powerful. Most others tended to dispise them but he seemed rather okay with it

Trill ground her teeth as she thought to herself. "Yes... I was trying to test Severus on his ability to hold his own and he did not disapoint." She hissed. "Which reminds me. Severus, make a note. Later, we will destroy my mortal enemy, Webs.com, someday and make them pay for making me repeat myself."

Site Owner Posts: 550 | Sensing Sevs eyes on her, Konata seemed to shrink down within herself; the fae was already on the smaller side for a Dire, but now she seemed even tinier, although just a touch to much larger than the average Wolven. Her fluffy tail curled about her forepaws and wrapped up about tue scarred shoulder, hiding the age old wounds from view, the tender white of her fangs evident in the twilight, her ears sliding back to press tightly against her skull, bangs covering one of her eyes. These people made her uncomfortable. These people she did not like.

Trill watched Kona shrink away with her bright red gaze, unblinking and cold like that of an actual corpes. With a small sigh, she knelt down to the ground and plunged a slender hand into the dead ground beneath her. The soil was dry and cold, crumbling to the touch like stale bread. When she'd withdrawn her hand, a brightly colored flower sprang up from the earth and seemed to glow in the darkness. "Do not be afraid, child. Fore we are nothing to fear." She quipped, meaning every word despite it all coming out so stiffly from the old necromancer.

Thanatos watched her bring the flower out of seemingly dead dirt beneath their feet and paws. He sighs the little display reminded him of just how dangerous he was... "Kona" He used a little nickname for her. by accident yet it had a nice ring to it "Your not afraid of me.. Seeing as my curse is worse then their abilitys there isnt any reason to be so.. timid... if they wanted to harm us they could have kept the undead and swarmed us..." He looked to Trill "I have a rather odd question to ask you Trill" He began politely "You know much more about necromancy then I will ever know.. And.. im sure my power.. curse... i dunno what to call it... it kinda... ties in with the whole life and death thing... You can give life to the dead... I take life from the living..." He slowly walked over to a lone tree green lush leaves and such intact on it and by simpally laying his hand on it the leaves wilted right before their eyes the wood even rotting a bit becomeing frail and brittle... Thana looked at the ground "I... Want to know what I am... If... you have the answer..." He looked back at her... (im tired this might be sucky xD)

Member Posts: 201 | Severus had been quiet for much of the exchange, mostly keeping a wary eye on the newcomers. He wasn't sure why he was less wary around Trill, he chalked it up to 'if she wanted to harm me, she wouldn't have wasted the energy to bring me back.' When Thanatos spoke and gave an example on the tree, his legs went into action before his mind could counteract, placing himself between Trill and the others instinctively. His dark eyes hardened as he looked at the other man... really more of a boy by comparison.

Site Owner Posts: 550 | Konata turned her head in Trills direction as she spoke, though the shy young female did not look her in the eye, nor did Konata really answer, merely ducking her head once more as she shook out her bangs. They kept falling into her face and eyes, and while most of the time she didnt mind it, right now they were getting in her way. A warrior was supposed to be watchful. Warrior, ha. Konata was so timid she looked like she couldnt even hurt a fly, let alone become a full fledge warrior. But therein lay the surprise - though quiet and shy, as she disliked speaking very often due to her upbringing and stutter, when someone she knew or loved was in danger Konata became a different creature. A fierce, rampaging beast who would take out anything that threatened. She watched as the woman withdrew the flower from the supposedly dead earth, wishing her powers were so honed. She had no clue of really how to use them, and everyone in her old pack thought her crazy. Or overly imaginative. She flinched at the sound of Thanas voice, then shied back a bit further with a softly murmured, "S-s-sorry." She looked to Sev when he moved between Trill and them, inching over towards Thanatos instead. She had nothing to fear from his touch.

Thana saw sev suddenly place himself between trill and himself and kinda felt bad... "I mean none of you any harm...its why i kept my hands in my pockets once the fighting stopped..." He looked over at Kona "No need to apologize... your okay" He murmers softly trying to speak even more gently to her hoping she wouldnt flinch away this time. (and now i await trills post XD

Trill shifted her gaze from Kona to Thanatos yet again and offered him a genuine smile from behind Severus. Once she'd picked the newly reborn flower from the ground, she hoisted herself back to a standing position. "You are something far more beautiful than I," Trill quipped. Stepping around Sev to close the distance between her and Thana, She took the young man's hand into her own and seemed to inspect it as if looking for the answer herself. "In all my years I've only ever met one other with this sacred ability. He, unfortunately, is long dead and his legacy lost among the burned ancient scripture of the beings that condemned him." She explained with a smile that could indicate how fondly she thought of Thana's ability. "Do not be ashamed of your gift. Unfortunately, I can not recall the name of your kind, but know that you have an ability to be praised. Not hidden."

Sev kept close to the older of the two women, keeping a warning glance on Thanatos that clearly said 'you saw what I did to the other undead, I will do it to you if you provoke me.' He had clearly been a powerful man at one time, albeit one that had made a few mistakes in his previous lives.

Thana looked at Trill as she spoke letting her take and examine his hand in her own "It should be...praised..?" He began unsure of himself "But.. why..?" He asks softly.. Wishing for Trill to explain to him why such a power would be praiseworthy. The ability to cause death to whoever he touched.. witddssdh no off switch... He was nervous when she took his hand and when she seemed to not be effected he relaxed a bit "Are.. all necromancers immune?" He asks as he just didnt know. "Trill... Can you teach me about what I am..?" He asks giving her the oppertunity of a lifetime. With his and her power combined the two would be nearly unstoppable in a fight. with him killing effortlessly and her bringing the dead to their side to continue to fight. He turned to Sev as he spoke "I dont intend on messing with you... But... well just dont get close until we know if your immune to my power or not.." He asked politely not wanting to accidently harm anyone

Site Owner Posts: 550 | Konata had moved so that she sat near Thanatos' leg, though she hadnt pressed against it like an overgrown pup might yet. She caught Sevs look towards the younger male and glanced up, ears pricking ever so softly forward from where she had them pinned back against her head, the gentle point of her fangs glistening in the moonlight, setting apart from her blackened jaw line. She said nothing, remaining quiet as they all talked, though she didnt appear disturbed as Trill took Thanatos' hand, as she figured the elder female knew what she was doing. Konata was content just to remain close, and apparently free from the microscope thay was the prying eye.

"Because without death, there is no life. And for there to be no life, beings like myself and others who may thrive off death, would not exist or otherwise would walk the earth with no purpose." Trill went on. "Your gift is a very rare physical anomaly given to those who have been chosen by Death himself to carry out his work where he cannot however you see fit." Trill's bright red eyes gleamed as she told Thana about the origins of his powers, something that clearly didn't happen often. "You see, your gift won't work on your friend or I because a necromancer's life force is wired so differently and our abilities are so conflicting that simply snuffing our lives out won't be enough. Not to be confused with immortality, however. A knife and poison will end us just as quickly as any human or wolven given the right circumstances." Â

"What about him?" He asks motioning to sev. "I havent gotten your name yet either Sir" He spoke the last part to Sev before looking back to Trill "I cant effect necromancers.. does it effect the resurected? or other types of.. um.. undead?" He asks clearly trying not to offend Sev. "And... Im... chosen by death?" He asks clearly surprised by that part
