"As I've already died I would hate to imagine that I can be affected by your power." Severus answered flatly, keeping himself positioned very prominently behind Trill.

Konata shivered as the darkness of the night began to fall, bringing with it the cold chill of the night, nipping along the edges of a bitter wind, dragging along the whispering voices of the spirits, restless souls whose dead shells lay nearby or scattered to the wind, and whose essence has not yet left this earth. She hated the night, despised the dark, for this very reason. The whispered murmur of their voices was the pressing configuration of her own curse in the large lupine ears that flicked halfway back upon her head, bangs drifting into her silver eyes as the molten hues flashed.

Trill thought over her response carefully before she finally opened her mouth again. "I believe it depends on the level of undead and how much 'life' was given to them at the time of reanimation. The prior horde, for example, couldn't have been affected by your ability because they were merely given the singular purpose to attack and therefore could only move to do so

"Makes sense.." Thana agreed deciding it wouldnt be wise to try and find out with sev. He noticed Kona starting to shiver and quake at the approaching chill of the night and surprised her. He slipped off that large black jacket he wore. Gently placeing it upon her shoulders to keep her warm "Its getting late.. you.. have a place to stay?" He asks her gently unsure if she was a loner or not. If she had a warm home to go to or not. He seemed to worry about her as he asked this

Konata blinked midshiver as Thanatos placedbhis large black jacket over her, glancing up at the male with a surprised gaze before she remembered her place and averted her eyes. Her mother had told her not to take kindly to boys, but then, her mother had told her lots of things, most of them untrue. "T-thanks," she whispered softly, her bangs falling once more into place before she shuddered once more - not all her shivering was due to the cold, as Thanatos would soon find out. Konata could hear the restless whisper of the dead, could feel the cold ire of their death. Pricking her ears at the continued sound of his voice, Konata nodded, murmuring, "I-i-i'm a-a member of V-volcano P-pack." She didnt like admitting her origins, but there it was. She saw no way of getting out of it, not now. Thanatos would question and ask her until he knew.

He asks hoping dispite being a necromancer she atleast had a phone. it seemed both of them could use help understanding their powers and useing them better. both Thana and kona

Trill gave it some thought before before she began to dig around in her pocket. It wasn't long before the woman withdrew a dingy looking piece of parchment that looked more like human skin than actual paper. "Here, you may contact me through this. Just write down your message on a small piece and burn it. I'll receive it. Use that wisely, however. It's the only one I have. Unfortunately for you, I refuse to give into these... modern devices you call 'cell phones'." She replied dryly.

"This isnt... human flesh... is it?" He asks taking the "paper" rather slightly unwillingly "I shall use it wisely however. Hopefully we will see eachother again. It seems like your the only one who can teach me about what i am.." He responded kindly to Trill "You two take care. and try not to burn anymore barns down or get Sev eaten by your other minions

"I-I-I'll be okay," Konata murmured softly, ducking her head down so that she did not meet his gaze. She listened as he exchanged more words with Trill, curling the oversized fluff that was her tail about herself, hiding the scar upon her leg, as she so often did, hoping that she wasn't about to be spoken too or asked more questions. She didn't socialize well, and it was painful in her attempt to speak, almost as if her slender jaws would not form the words. Her bangs drifted down to cover her face, as usual, and her shoulders were hunched, drawing the young Dire into herself so that she took up as little space as possible, and her figure was less noticeable in the flickering dark, though the flickering gold of her colored patterns could potentially catch someone's eye. Yes, indeed, it was hard to believe she was a warrior's apprentice, and being trained in the fine art of combat. Difficult to envision still was the idea of Konata baring her fangs against anything larger than a fly, seeing as she was so timid and meek, and one had serious doubts as to her even doing that. A bit of a surprise, it would be then, when she went into warrior mode at the time when someone she liked or loved was in a time of need.

Thanatos had turned and began to walk over to Kona and ended up crouching down to look her eye level now. His red crimson orbs peering into her own gently "Its time we head back.. if... its okay i come with you" Thana spoke his words more of a suggestion and definately not an order that they leave now. But the idea of getting home.. or a place with less people certainly would be appealing to the introverted female that he had been following

She shrugged, meeting his gaze for all of two seconds before she lowered it, hefting herself to her paws as she murmured softly, "I-i-i-if y-you i-insist." With that, she turned and began to leave, giving a shy duck of her head by way of good bye to those people they had just met, at least wanting to be polite, even if she wasn't very outspoken. Her paw steps were quick and light as she made her way back the way the pair had come, Thanatos' jacket still draped over her shoulders, for the moment hiding her scars, though the uneven jolt of her gait was enough to remind him, and perhpas if he were curious, to make conversation, he could ask her about it to pass the time as they returned to the pack, though for the moment, Konata seemed more content with the silence, preferring not to have to speak in reply. Her tail was down, its thick surface flowing by her flanks, the glittering gold of her patterns shimmering in the pale moonlight, her eyes the same hue as the silver light that washed down from her too pale face, the craters on the gray surface clearly visible in the full moon's grinning face, clearly seen from miles around and providing more than enough illumination to find her way home, not that she'd ever forgotten the path in the first place.

Trill grabbed Sev's arm and pulled him closer to her so they were arm in arm. "Come. I have some business that needs taken care of."
