Leah was snuggled into his arms, as close as she could physically get, and she still wondered if it were close enough. If she coud draw closer, she would. Her ears pricked as he spoke to her, the bright black of her eyes lifting to regard the gentleness of his voice and face, drinking in the soothing notes of his tone. Her powers? Oh, yeah. She remembered that now. A small sigh escaped her lips as she nestled closer, placing her head back on his shoulder from where she had lifted it. "My powers." She repeated softly, flicking her ears as she nodded softly in response to his question. "They're more of the unnatural sort. I was born a Seer. It means I can see the future, but only in brief glimpses or slight flashes. The mark on my wrist proves it - all Seers are born with some type of defining feature. For me, my mark warns me of danger to myself. The closer danger comes, the more intense the pain it causes, and the more brilliant the glow that emanates from it. I...also have telekinesis, which means I move things with my mind. And my final ability is the art of density shifting. Which means I can change my density at will. Sometimes if I concentrate I can use it on one or two others."

"Thats what you did to me at the club so i didnt get shot again..? It happened so fast i never got a chance to ask you about it" Welkin replied. He moved a bit letting her rest her head on his shoulder. Welkin gently picked up one of her arms so gently, and looked at her as if asking permission to examine her mark in greater detail unsure if she wasnt so comfortable with him looking at it or touching it gently. When she gave the goahead he held her arm so gently as he took a more detailed look at her mark. and gently ran his cool fingers across it stopping if she showed any pain or discomfort. "This is what was causeing that pain..? It happens when your in danger then.... Why.. Did it happen at the store earlier..? Does it happen when you could be in danger, like if things had gone south there we would have been in trouble.. or only when your absolutely going to be in danger?" Welkin asks softly before adding on "And.. those.. nightmares... that you zone out and have are the future...? It didnt seem like it was good whatevrr it was... you were screaming bloody murder.." Welkin pulled Leah a bit closer after saying that last part hoping he didnt upset her in any way "You really have some awesome powers though, It honestly makes me wonder why you hide them.. other then it giving you away as the target the senators men are looking for...

"Yes," Leah whispered softly. "Its what I used on Nick when I saved him from the bus to. Which is where all this started. If not for that, I wouldn't have been at the club. You'd have been shot, and we'd never have met." She permitted him to lift her arm - the mark wasn't bothering her now. The bright white glow of its luminescence was gone, meaning that for the moment she was safe. And therefore, so was he. She did not show any sign or inkling of discomfort as he ran his fingers over it, merely remained curled securely in the soothing warmth of his arms. It made her so sleepy, but she refused to give in just yet, smothering the yawn that rose to her plush lips. "Its always when Im in danger. But I didn't get a vision, so, I have no earthly idea what it was about. I assume it was cause of the cops. But I have no real, honest idea." She answered softly. "Usually it happens when there will be danger. Doesn't matter what it is or how far off it might be. Since its gone, I assume it was due to what happened earlier." She flicked her ears as he spoke again, asking about her visions. "Sometimes....its not always visions. Usually its voices. I can hear sounds...the environment. The people involved. Their plans. Sometimes its murky, sometimes its clear. Occasionally I get the whole thing, with the sight and all, but that's...rare. And infrequent. Could be where Im still growing into them. My powers, I mean. Could be Im just a different kind of Seer. But its the future. Or a possibility of the future. I can't control them though. They just...happen." She snuggled closer as he pulled her to him, grateful for the contact and love he so held and shared with her. She yawned again, this time not bothering to hide it or stop it. "I hide them because most people don't understand them, and usually I don't want to explain them to strangers. Besides...my father's a Seer. Its his bloodline these powers come from."

Welkin gently set her arm back down his fingers gently running up her arm softly back to her head where her ears were as he continued to rub them. Unknowingly relaxing Leah even more to the point she would start perhaps meshing her words together in to some sort of gibberish if she tired to speak. He heard the yawn and knew she was tired. He shifted so they were lieing down now Leah curled up in to his embrace with him lieing down rather then sitting up, where he would probably regret falling asleep like that. He kissed her forhead gently and softly whispered to her as she lingered on the edge of wakefullness and sleep. "Its time to rest now my love.. I will watch over you always" He murmers to her soothing away all fo her fears at once letting her drop herself down in to the rather calming darkness that was sleep. It wasnt the dark unknown that gave her fear, fear that she wouldnt wake ip or wouldnt be free when she woke. It was now an escape. A land where she could dream, and recover her strenght for the next day. Welkin stayed with her as she slept his form protecting her. He shifted in to his wolf form seeing their blanket was too far away and curled aroudn her fully now letting his warmth. A much greater warmth now protect her from the biting chill of the air as the temperature cooled greatly at night. He rested his muzzle right on top of her head inbetween her own ears and closed his eyes letting sleep claim him as well... "Together forever..." He softly murmered to himself as he fell asleep

Leah couldn't speak now even if she had wanted too - the soft, soothing essence of his hands against her ears were dulling her senses even further and easing her ever closer into sleep. She felt her eyes fall to first half mast, then three quarters shut. He was so warm. So very warm. And safe - Leah knew he would never let anything touch her. Anything at all. That part of her life was over, and as long as she was with him, she had no need to be acquainted with fear. As he adjusted their position, she felt her boots coming off, and knew that he was removing them before his hands traced back through her beautiful electric blue hair, just managing to whisper, "Love you..." And then she was gone, fast asleep within the soft embrace of his arms. Vaguelt she felt him shift over into his wolf form, which only served to entice her to snuggle closer, her body relaxing softly against him as she slept.

Welkin slept rather well that night and to Leah's surprise he wasnt the one to rise before her this time. She would wake up finding her body completely covered and entraped in a warmth that could very well have pushed her right back in to sleep if she hadnt rested up before hand. He was wrapped around her and had his head on top of hers as he slept curled around her so no cold air would dare threaten to breka through his defense. and no stranger would be able to disterb her without alerting her protector. His heart thumped lazily in is chest as he slept his scent having filled the air of the tank with a very pleasent smell. He looked so peaceful and comfortable but he wouldnt mind if she woke him as she moved. infact he would be glad to be woken up just so he could spend more time of his existance with the person he cared about the most in his life. With Leah

Although before she could move or nudge him awake he shifted a little in his sleep and opened his eyes calmly as he woke up naturally on his own. His muzzle had been resting on top of her head inbetween her ears. He slowly raised his head and gave her a gently nuzzle his tail gently curling with her own. "Good morning beautiful" He murmers softly to her his warm fur closeing in just a little bit more as he curled around her a little bit more trying to get closer just like he always did not wanting to revert back to his human form yet. After all he wanted to make sure she wouldnt be too cold without his body and fur giving her heat. It wasnt so hot out anymore as it was for the past days and today seemed rather windy and chilly. "Did you sleep well?" He asks as he brushed his head against her shoulder gently

Leah opened her eyes before Welkin had a chance too, blinking softly as she yawned, stretching only slightly - she was careful not too move too much, as she didn't want to wake her mate, as he needed his rest too. It occurred to her that though he now knew of her powers, she didn't know of his, but, considering he hadn't even known he was a Wolven with multiple lives before, she doubted he was aware of his abilities. Leah would just have to help him discover them then. It was a good chance that the two of them would need them before the end of this seemingly never ending battle between the pair and her father, the sire whom she wished she had never known. But she would not think about that now, nor would she indulge in such dreary mockery of her happiness with the man she had found to truly care for and about her. No, she would relish these few minutes of quiet, and she would enjoy the immense warmth he provided her through body heat and fur, something that was a bit higher than normal, or perhaps Leah thought so because she was used to the chill of distance, and still growing accustomed to having some form of human contact. Even so, perhaps one of his powers was the element of fire? It was worth a shot, at least, and she'd make it a point to speak to him about it later. She blinked as he stirred, lifting her head as she pricked her ears, tail curling tightly about his own as she snuggled closer, feeling him do the same. Her fingers wrapped around his fur as she tucked an arm about his front, chest, and shoulders, the beautiful delicacy of her features cuddling into the thick plushness that was his coat, murmuring soft in return as he nosed and nudged, nuzzled and nutured, "There's no such thing as a 'good' morning. But with you at least they're brighter and more tolerable." She was still curled snugly within his embrace, spotting the blanket about an eon away and deciding it was too far away to bother with, as Welkin was plenty warm and provided her with plenty of heat, lifting her head from his fur and rolling further onto her side, adjusting languidly into a more comfortable position. Leah now lay with her arm remaining wrapped about him, one glistening black eye glittering adoringly as she drank in his features, not having witnessed his animal form before, now memorizing the handsome cut of his maw, the endearing poof of his hair, slender fingers idly tracing the alternating patterns of his fur and coat, admiring the twisting hues of black and brown, wondering if he'd seen her animal figure yet, or if he'd only been able to see her in her human form. The last time she had reverted to her lupine structure was when she was on the run in the cemetery, while he was fending off Edward and her father. Leah didn't think he'd been able to glance her wolf form then - he'd been to busy stalling to buy her some time, and she had reverted back to human by the time he had returned from his mission, half dead and bleeding, afraid to die alone. "I did, you?" She whispered softly, one ear swiveling forward to better catch the melodious notes of his voice, light lips planting a soft kiss at the junction of his shoulder and neck, relishing the closeness of their contact, and the almost palable feeling of their love trickling through the air, the atmosphere one of a tender nature, instead of the tense, edgy, and always ready for fight or flight structure the couple had experienced before. It was nice to relax, for once, Leah reflected, and just have a few moments to themselves, enjoy one another's company, and just over all do what they wanted together, one never far from the other.

Welkin smiled his large warm wolf form staying snug around Leah's small and gentle form glad she was recovering. She was still rather skinny but she wasnt emaciated as bad as when they first met. Welkin slowly nuzzled her and licked her cheek gently with his warm tongue before nuzzleing her again letting her fingers brush through his fur. His scent came stronger now which saturated the air in the tank with a pleasent smell. "I did as well" He murmers and brushed his tail over her arm before wraping it around her arm a bit as if to let her know He would stay with her always. "Would you... like to try going out again today?" He asks unsure how she felt at the moment.. about yesterday... He was worried but wouldnt ask as if he brought it up it surely would upset her. He then realised she had never seen his wolf form. He actualy forgotten that fact and remembered he never saw hers either. "Oh.... Im sorry.. I should have let you seen me like this before you woke up to me in this form.. Im sorry if i worried you making you think some stranger had wrapped themselves around you" He apologised with a cute "im guilty" face his ears lowered a bit

Leah actually laughed in the face of his apology, her fangs flashing a bit as her voice rolled into the foreign sound. It was light, and airy, almost tinkling like a soft bell in the midst of its mirth, and she teasingly flicked on ear, rumbling, "I knew it was you by the scent, you big goof. Even if I haven't ever seen this form. Your smell is unmistakable." She lifted her head in response to his nuzzle and licks, enjoying the attention, remembering how comforting it was to breathe him in, to have the feel of him beside her, for now and all eternity. Her hand closed over his tail, and she nuzzled more fully into him as she lolled onto her back, continuing to rest her head on his side. "'Sides, don't think you've seen mine either." It was true she was gaining weight slowly, bit she was by no means as healthy as she should be. Reaching up, she pulled his face close to hers, bracing his muzzle in her surprisingly soft hands, whispering a soft kiss upon tue tapering portion of his upper jaw, just above his nose, reassuring him in her own way of his insecurities, silently telling him he had nothing to fear. "Maybe later...," she murmured in reply to his question about heading out, even as he moved his head to lay on her chest. "Right now Im content to stay here with you."

Welkin's ears perked up and his tail relaxed in to her grasp as his muzzle rested in her hands now. He managed to lean foward and place a small loving lick on her nose before speaking "If. you would like.. You could show me your wolf form some time" He murmers rather sweetly to her as he shifted a bit letting his warm fur completely cover her body so she could be completely immersed in the heavenly warmth and intoxicating scent. She could bury her face in to his chest and be completely invisible to the world for a while if she wanted to so she could experiance bliss for a short while before she desired fresh air again. Welkin was happy she would be okay that they could go out later. and was even more happy to stay with her for a long while as well "I love you Leah" He murmers softly to her his chest vibrating a bit as he spoke

If he had been in his human form she would have kissed him more deeply, but as it was, she merely nuzzled closer, relaxing more completely into his embrace and hold. A soft sigh of content once again rose past her lips as she nodded in response to his sweet, ever endearing request to see her animal form, relishing the tender security of his embrace, taking a moment to breathe him in as he curled so completely about her, burying her face and nose into the silken fur of his chest. A moment later she shifted, the human figure becoming more lupine within tje shortest of seconds. Alternating patterns of black and white were her fur, and she was smalle, agile, clearly built for speed in this form rather than brute strength, as she was slender and slight, even more so here than in her human form. Her dagger marking remained, though it did not pain her at the moment, nor did it have any traces of a glow. The only difference here was that her eyes were a bright and tender turquoise, rather than a dark and inky black.

Welkin watched as she shifted and smiles warmly his bushy tail wagging to and fro behind him as he took in her form before making her disapear curling around her so only her head poked out from his fluffy fur. He licks her chin gently before nuzzleing down her neck then returning to gaze in to her eyes "Your absolutely stunning Leah" He murmers to her happily knowing it might embarrase her a tad bit right now as he never had seen her wolf form before. While she was small speedy and agile with a slender body and normal average pelt build for any weather Welkin was larger bulkier and much much fluffer build for cold harsh snow and snuggleing, as well as protecting the one he loved too. He could be mistaken for a small to average sized direwolf for his size in this form. "Your eyes even changed color too.. i cant decide which are better... they are both so perfect"

Leah was tiny in this form compared to him, as she was littler than even a normal, average size Wolven, but it didnt bother her. Not in the slightest. It just meant that Welkin could curl and snuggle about her more completely, rather than have to worry about whether or not he was big enough to provide her with adequate warmth. Her pattern provided a nice contrast to his own, however, even while complimenting its natural hues of browns and blacks. The gentle, smooth surface of her ears flicked sheepishly forward, even as she lowered her chin a bit beneath his all encompassing gaze, afraid he might not find her lupine figure at all satisfactory. She was after all, a touch unorthodox, especially with the intriguing way in which her eyes changed color. Unbeknownst to her, however, it was a truly natural thing - for it was a Cothern trait, amd therefore a feature passed down by blood. A genetic effect, if one would. So Leah was surprised when Welkin complimented her like so, the soft velvet of her ears whispering forth once more, head tilting slightly even as she felt the loving embrace of his muzzle. "You mean...you don't think Im a freak? Most do, once they see my eyes change so suddenly...." It was an age old confession, a lifelong insecurity.

"Leah... You know i could never think that about you... Honestly im surpriused you havent thought im a weirdo, comeing from a backwards, technoligy wise, place and living in an old tank in the middle of the woods... I love you Leah and id never think that.. Even if i didnt know you id think its awesome.. Ive always wished i could do that at times and blue eyes go well with your wolf form" He gave a smile nuzzleing in to her his nose pressing in to the crook of her neck gently as he took in her scent "Your absolutely beautiful in both forms Leah.. And once you get back to your normal weight it will only get better." He gave a smile his tail twining with hers gently "It doesnt matter if your small.. It just makes it easier for me to snuggle around you.. It doesnt matter that your eyes change, they look beautufil both ways... What matters is in here..." He uncurled around her for a breif moment and placed a paw on her chest gently. "It matters that your a good person... It matters that.. Dispite everything you went through... you still let me in.. You still see the good in humanity.. dispite it being burried under so much bad things.. You still see the light in this world.. something countless people lost...  and as long as im in here... I wont ever let that light go out"

She barked a laugh at the idea he was a weirdo, ears flicking back as it died down into a chuckle with a return of, "I grew up in a basement with an abusive father as my role model, remember? I have no sense of normalcy whatsoever - quite frankly, I doubt there's an even remotely normal bone in my body. I'm happy to just have a home where I'm not chained to the wall and waiting for my next beating, wondering if this will be the one that kills me." She obligingly let him wrap around her and nuzzle into her, liking the contact, sliding her muzzle and head up so that it rested faintly on the back of his shoulders, ears pricking to drink in the musical sound of his voice while her tail twined with his, heart shivering in her chest as he dribbled such eloquence in her ear, truly honored he would think such of her - to Leah herself, she was more of the embittered type who looked on the darkside, who refused to die simply because she wasn't ready yet. Because she hadn't gotten to live yet. Leah knew herself as full of hatred and spite, always willing to go the extra mile to smite her enemies, and ensure they wouldn't return to give her further trouble, even though she hadn't managed to kill anyone yet. That was the one step she could not take, and the one line she could not cross. Normally she beat them to a bloody pulp, used her telekinesis to fling them through a couple walls, and was on her merry way before the effects of such strenous use of her own individual gifts and powers put her down - sometimes the recuperation period was a week, sometimes it was longer. Sometimes it was less. It depended on how much she used it, and how hard she was trying to control it. Wild bursts of power usually left her less drained and quicker to heal than the channeled, smarter way of thinking about and molding her abilties to the situation. But this she did not tell Welkin - not yet. Instead, she snuggled closer to him, hiding her face in his chest fur as he mentioned such pretty things, things that could not be true to her, though she liked them all the same, and wished with all her might that they could be true. "Thank you," she whispered, trying to hide the fact that there were tears gathering in her eyes again, though they weren't the weeping monstrosity of sorrow - rather, the touched, gentle compassion of her softer nature, one that was grateful, oh so grateful, to have a mate like him, to have a husband who could accept the flaws and see past all the bad. Who could accept her for who she was and still have hope that she was a good person - something she herself had long given up on. To have someone simply believe in her, and share that belief with her in an effort to raise her up, to lift her from the muck and mire. Her voice was slightly hoarse as she snuggled deeper, pressing closer, her slender white paw moving to cover his own, conveying the extent and depth of her emotions, and revealing to him once more all those broken little things inside, things that, though slowly and painstakingly, Welkin himself was beginning to mend.

Welkin could feel her tears welling up as the gentle wetness started to reach through his fur yet feeling how it wasnt as much as before when she had cried in to hsi chest letting it all out he figured it wasnt a sorrowful cry. He snuggled his larger form around her getting even closer if that was possible for them. His head resting gently atop her own as he gave her ears gently caring licks "I mean every word i say... Even if you cant see it... You are beautiful Leah... I couldnt ask for... I couldnt even dream or imagine someone better then you... Someone more perfect... It couldnt exist in this world.." He murmers softly to her letting her curl her form closer to him pressing her face deeper in to his chest to hide it away. "I love you Leah.. And ill always be there for you... I wont ever abandon you... I wont ever leae your side..." Welkin continued on speaking his promises and pouring his heart and feelings out to Leah again.. Although by now the sun had risin and the air surely would start to get warm and hot in here.. Welkin didnt want to tear his form away from her to hit the button to turn the ac on... He didnt want to leaveher side but by now they had only a little while left before it got warm and he had to get up and turn it on unelss they wanted to melt.

She snorted, ruefully, at his commentation. If only it were true. There were plenty of she wolves that could have served him as a mate better, but Leah was honored he had chosen her. She was grateful to - she had expected to always be alone. And on the run. Leah felt the temperature changing and though she was aware of the ac, truth be told, here, right now, she wouldnt mind melting. Not if it was with and into him. She was thankful that she was no longer alone.

He stayed curled around his mate the warmth of his fur indeed letting her melt away in to his embrace if she wished. He nuzzled in to her neck again before running his tongue under her chin before showering her face in wolfish kisses. He hadnt liked that she didnt think of herself as good enough for him but it only served to make him want to comfort and care for her even more. He pressed himself tighter against her fully entrapping her in a world of black and red where his calming and soothing scent swirled around her, "I love you so much Leah.." He whispers gently in to her ear repeating the phrase he had spoken to her many times now in many ways "You really are perfect to me.. and dont let anyone.. even yourself tell you otherwise... Im honored and the luckiest guy alive to have a mate like you.. someone i need just as much as she needs me... Without you i just dont see any color in the world anymore.. No more reason... No more happiness... Thats why from now on.. im not ever going to leave your side... ill never stop loving you.. never quit and say enough is enough... Ill do anything for you Leah" He murmers gently to her pressing his muzzle in to her own fur at the base of her neck taking a deep breath of her scent causeing his tail to wag behind him as he visably relaxed around her now.
