Volcano Pack:                 

This is the Lake, an area open to all; many come here to swim, train, or just relax. There is a small island in the center of it's vast expanse, teenagers often sneak away to snatch a few secret moments and share stolen kisses, providing perfect seclusion due to the fact that mountains border its sides and a pine forest anchors the trees around its muddy banks. It is also quite the perfect spot for a vampire to both torture and kill their victim in secluded peace, with little to no interruptions.

NUKE: "Ah, I see." he says, "An artic region. It was nice, until you have an element like mine and you melt throgh ice caves during a blizzard." He adds with a soft laugh, "But we had this lake that was only unfroze for about two months out of the year. Really pretty when you can watch the sun or moon off of the lake water instead of it glaring harshly off the ice and snow." he adds. His smile wavers slightly as he thought of his packmates, and how they had all met untimely deaths, but it danced back accross as he remembers the good times.

Cortana & Rayla: Raylie couldn't help but giggle" yeah fire in an ice climite is difficult. and were I came from I had a lake like this too. half the year it would be frozen.. even when it wasn't the water is to cold to swim in... in either form "she said softly and gives a smile of her own. Though saying this revealed a bit of where she was from. the high mountians in the far west. where even in the middle of the summer were it suppose to be the hottest weather. you still wear a jacket to keep the cold off even when the sun is fully out. Raylie glanced over at the water once more before returning her gaze to him. There was only a couple packs that managed to survive up there. one big one for sure lead by a guy that in the public's eye was kind and strong leader. But in the eye of his family he was dark and cold. he was insane and a smart scientist. it was rumored that this leader was two faced but no evidence ever came forth to prove it and no one ever came forward either. A rumor spread about 3 years ago that the daughter of the alpha betrayed the pack and left abandoning his father in the middle of a fight.

Aspen: NUKE: He smiles a bit more listening to her talk about her place of birth. "Swimming in cold water with an element like mine is terribly easy. Heats up most of the lake too." he adds with a laugh. He wags his tail softly.

Cortana & Rayla: Raylie chuckled" great benefit of fire "She said gently and slowly got up moving a little more closer. She felt the warm getting warmer and couldn't help but move closer. now they were close enough that if they both reached out they could touch. She didn't dare move closer right now. She laid back down and smiled as her tail slowly brushed against the ground as she wagged. Her wings white and pressed against her back. They flexed a little as she relaxed some. " growing up in the mountians I never really got to learn how to swim.... the water was too cold to be in it pretty much all year long. sometimes a day would come up that the temp wouldn't be dangerously cold but that was kind of rare and would often only happen once for the whole year..... Even for a couple years " she said gently.

Aspen: NUKE: He nods his head as he listens to Raylie speak, "I kinda taught myself. No one really swam where I was from." His ears flicker slightly as a soft breeze blew over, watching the water ripple slightly. "So what brings you way out here?" he asks her softly.

Cortana & Rayla: Raylie glanced at him and nodded. She then looked back out when he asked her the question" didn't fit in back home and wanted to get out of the city... Nearly got hit by a car today.... a cop car and I accidently iced the hood "She said smoothly.

Aspen: NUKE: He bites back a soft laugh, "You iced a cop car?" he asks after his soft laughter dies, "Isn't that like punishable or something?" he asks; his laughter picking back up once more.

Cortana & Rayla: Raylie chuckled softly and nodded" yep as I slid across the hood and yeah.... I think so... but luckly they can't track me "she said gently and glanced around the area.

NUKE: He gives her another soft laugh, "Luckly." He extends his forepaws outwards, stretching out and digging his claws into the ground, he pulls them back and gives a soft yawn. "So your run from the cops, whom's car you've just iced, led out all the way out here? Now what's your plan? I'm guessing the dash cam on the cop car most likey caught your face or at the very least your profile." he says, a slight show of concern creasing his brow. Even though he had just met her and she seemed extremely shy towards him, he felt slightly protective of the female.

Raylie laughed some and her ears went back some" I don't know... and I had my hood on the whole time... and I think my back was turned towards the dash... so they couldn't have seen my face... "she said gently an glanced down" I hope they didn't see me at least..... I don't need anyone else chasing me "she said below her breath but not quiet low enough he was able to hear a lot of what she whispered still. Her gaze went down to the sand. Some of the bigger scars she had showed through where the fur wasn't as thick as it should be due to the skin healing over the scar. 

NUKE: His ears prick forward, just barely catching what she had said under her breath. He turned his gaze to her as he looked her up and down, noticing the scars, but not saying anything about them; those where her stories to tell when she was ready. His ears twitch at the thought of someone chasing this female, "Who's chasing you?"he asks softy. 

Raylie blinked and looked back up at him surprised at first. Her ears went back before coming up" my old pack..... the alpha and his minons... "she said softly. When she said The alpha it was clear there was distast in her voice but also pain as if this alpha wasn't just the alpha of her birth pack.... but actual blood to her. someone who was suppose to be a role model a parent but instead treats her like dirt and caused her two lives. not that she would tell anyone she's down two lives. 

NUKE: His ears flicker as he looked at her, hearing the distaste and the softness of her voice. He looks at with soft concern, "As long as you consider me a friend, I wouldn't let anyone hurt a hair on you." he says softly. Trying to not come on to her, as he was trying to be protective of the female that laid next to him. 

Raylie gave a faint smile at his words and nodded. She moved slightly and moved closer to him showing that she was starting to relax more and be near him. She smiled" we're friends... thank you "she said softly and her tail wagged ever so slightly. unknowingly her tail brushed over his. She looked at him and sighed" I've never been able to relax like this in a long time be able to let my guard down to even entertain the thought of relaxing.... nor has it been a long time since I ever trusted someone like this "she said gently.

A faint sound and scent of another wolf coming this way caused Raylie to jump onto her feet and run off taking to the sky the moment she could. She glanced back towards where Nuke was but was to far away already to call to him. She whimpered and hoped he'd be ok... she just couldn't risk it and didn't even want to come face to face with her old pack.. But also the thought of being so close to someone and letting her heart fall scared her even more then her staying in one place for two long. She disappeared out of sight. But Nuke wasn't left alone from where the noise came from a wolf came tumbling in wounded and scared. Her ears were back and her wings were badly damaged. She looked much like Raylie and had simular scent as she did. They were clearly related. [ sorry Aspen needed Raylie for a rp so I pulled her. but I brought in a new character for Nuke to care for and protect XD]
