Leon let out a grumble hearing the knock "Ill get it Alex.." He hadnt sat down yet and walked to the door opening it. He had no shirt on and fresh bandages on his shoulder and arm "Can i help you?" He asks after opening the door. Leon had no reason to be suspicous or attack but Alex easily could see her attacker in Lucas from what she could see if she followed Leon. And leon hadnt been able to tell as he hadnt seen Alex's attacker before. Elza looked at the door then back over to Peter "Well we could get going. Its kinda rude to just chill out here after everything that happened. You still on duty?

Shia glanced down at the street from the roof and saw Lucas walking towards the house. She growled some and shifted into her wolf form. Alex heard the door knock and blinked. from the window the figured looked scarily farmilar. She got up and followed him and the split second she saw lucas she instatnly thought it was the guy from before and growled. She shifted and lunged at him. given he wasn't expecting this she knew she'd get him by surprise. She snarled and her coat instatnly started to shimmer with the metal look coming back slowly. Her eyes showing that metal sliver hue. Her ears flat against her head as she growled in his face" your pretty dumb to show your face here again you little punk.... Don't you even think about throwing me again... Where's your pal? hmm "she asked growling. Nick woke up startled and groaned a little " what's going on? "he asked rubbing his eyes. Peter nodded" yeah we properly should go and let them sleep and yeah I'm on duty but part of my duty is watching out for the people of this city so I'm ok driving you to the hosptial or some place you trust to get you checked out and see if there is a medical reason to whyy your not feeling well" he said softly.

Elza heard the commotion and growled grabbing the shotgun off of the garage floor and cocked it with one arm walking in to the room to see what was going on "One of those little fucks still here?" She snarled then stopped "Alex he isnt one of the vampires ears and a tail relax" Elza called out to her trying to calm her down as Leon watched in confusion "Alex whats this all about who is this guy? he the one from the club!?" Leon asks wishing he had still had his gunbelt on incase they needed it

Lucas had turned to face the male who answered the dorr, his apparent Wolven status plain from both scent and the pair of ears that twitched upon his head, sprouting from a full head of hair, though Lucas' blue locks were just a tish longer, falling to frame his face in a rather messy style that required little to no care. He had glanced up at Shia as he approached the house, blinking at her, though he hadn't said anything to the young female - he sensed she was on edge, and was unsure of whether or not she would take his speech the wrong way, or deem his words and actions unfriendly. He had, however, lifted a hand in greeting in an attempt to show he wasn't here for harm - he had just merely come mainly to deliver some advice and a warning. To let Alex know primarily what she was up against. His open features were sensitive nature, with a strong jaw and black eyes that glittered with a special warmth, something that was lacking in his father's visage, though Leon, of course, would not have known that. Turning his gaze back upon the fellow Wolven who had answered his resounding knock, Lucas had just opened his mouth, displaying finely shaped, strongly curved teeth to utter his murmur of a response, when Alex tackled him, taking the teenager by surprise and sending him tumbling back from the small porch, crashing into the cobblestone driveway, landing rather heavily upon his back, head striking the grassy earth with a resounding thud that sent a sharp lance of pain cascading through his skull, though he resisted its dizzying presence with a mere blink and intake of breath. His boxer training had prepared him to take such hits and unexpected surprises, after all. As she leaned down into his face, Lucas raised his hands in surrender, the gentle warmth of his own voice almost immediately responding, "I'm not who you think I am; I didn't come here to take you, and I've no idea who this pal is." Though apprehensive at first, she could sense by the way in which he relaxed his muscles beneath her that he wasn't here to harm or hurt, and she could tell by a quick glance in the heated pools of his eyes that he was a different wolf altogether - similar, yes, due to his family relations, but different. Now that she was closer and could view his appearance, she could tell he was most definitely not her attacker: he was dressed as what could be considered a punk, yes, but it was nothing like the attire of Lucas' father. His hair was a bit different too - longer, more of an off blue tone rather than the more electric hues of his sire and sister. Lucas may not have been aware of Leah's very existence, but Alex could quite easily make the connection between the three, if she considered it long enough or took a moment to pause and consider implications. The male pinned beneath the metallic shimmer of the fae's lupine figure was clad in blue jeans that were just a bit baggy in the legs, providing him freedom of movement and preventing the ordeal that was being chafed, and his shoes were those of black and white converses, the shoe strings of one untied and trailing in the dirt. The muscled and well toned upper body, quite clearly defined and kept in shape, was clad in a black tank top that moved freely with him, covered by a grayish tinted coat whose hood was outlined in plush white fur, though Lucas had made sure the decoration was fake before he bought it. His skin was a paler tone, and his cheeks were a bit high for a male, but it all built into the classic beauty that was his facial style, providing him with a handsome, though rugged charm, over the female race that Lucas, sweet little Lucas, often himself ignored - or was just oblivious too. Many weren't sure which, and he had never really been able to say one way or the other, though based upon his responses, one could lean more towards the latter. After a moment's pause, when he knew he had her attention, he continued, softly, quietly, using a gentle, though urgent tone of voice, "I don't have telekinesis, if that's what your referring too." He wanted to ensure she didn't view him as a threat, and that she wouldn't be suspicious if he didn't address that particular part of her speech, even if she might just as easily question why he knew precisely what she was talking about. "My name is Lucas, I'm a boxer, like you, Alex, though I'm still in the youth's division." His tail, a different hue altogether, remained by his side, its black and white striped lemur patterened presence a mere sidenote when considered or pondered with everything else. He didn't reveal how he knew that the Wolven she-wolf pinning him was Alex - he could tell by her scent, and assumed that the Wolven brute standing in the doorway had been the one to turn her, most likely for her own good. He would not jump to conclusions, nor would he judge. Though he seemed apprehensive, it was mainly due to the fact that Alex was right at his throat, and though Luas had faced danger before, he didn't really fancy the idea of losing yet another of his three remaining lives. His father had made the pain of death all to abundantly clear. Through it all, Alex could sense a gentle, fair soul beneath the quiet exterior, and though she may still have had misgivings, would have been more inclined to trust him, especially given the information he volunteered next, attempting to establish some sort of rapport, some measure of at least grating trust. "Check my front right jacket pocket, I've got your card and one Richard, the club owner gave me. Some proof you can trust me." And it was true, now that she took a moment to pause and smell him - she could indeed detect the club owner's spoor upon the male, and no hint of blood or gore, not a single sign that he had taken advantage of, maimed, or killed anybody. Not even any hint that he had recently been in any sort of violence.

Peter blinked seeing this happen. Nick came out and saw Lucas before letting out a fan boy scream" IT"S LUCAS "he cheered" Alex don't kill him "he called over to his sister knowing she's been through a lot and is easily triggered right now. Alex caught his scent and his nature. She blinked slowly and blinked slowly looking down into his eyes" Lucas.... "she said smoothly and her ears perk up slowly as she calmed down. She could smell Richard on him and getting a closer look at this young man she could tell he wasn't him. this guy younger then the guy that attacked her. Her ears went back" tell me this... you look simular to the man that attacked me and chased after a girl that was in my charge...why?" she asked as she slowly moved off him to allow him up. Shia slightly jumped when Alex tackled Lucas but then slowly calmed down and waited. watching what was going on, ready to step in if she was needed.

One ear twitched as Lucas caught the high pitched scream of a child, his black eyes glancing toward the boy as he made his presence known, blinking as he took in the appearance of all the others standing about the lawn or on top of the roof - he hadn't realized just how many people were here, and the thought made him a bit nervous (what if they didn't believe him?), but he shook off the emotion almost as easily as it came upon him, recentering himself with a deep breath. He slowly sat up as Alex eased off of him, not missing the suspiciousness in her tone, or the accusation that was so subtly veiled there. He wasn't the same male, she knew that, but it didn't mean he wasn't in league with him, as far as she was concerned. Lucas could buy that, and understood it. He rolled his shoulders easily as he lumbered to his feet, moving gracefully due to his Wolven blood, stretching his muscles out briefly as he adjusted his weight, so that he was evenly balanced upon both of his feet. Normally he would have made his way over to Nick and greeted the boy right off, but sensing his sister's protective nature, and knowing there were more serious things than any sort of fan worship that Nick may have had towards him, Lucas remained, for the moment at least, where he was, his gaze wandering over the area and the people there as he stood at ease, tucking his hands, which were clad in fingerless gloves and the startling white of a boxer's bandages, into his pockets, the silver chain that was his dog tags tickling against the muscle that was his chest, his soft voice responding, "In all honesty? It's because that man is my father." The flat tone of his words reflected Lucas' dislike for the man, and a slight curl of his lip revealed just what sort of sentiments that the young boxer held towards the elder that was his sire by birth and blood, not that Lucas could help that, and not that he could have chosen the bloodline that was to be his parentage. "My full name is Lucas Cothern, though for several years, for his sake and my own, I've denied any family relation." The last name would have struck a bell with Alex, at least, as she would know perfectly well who Senator Cothern was - he was in the newspaper quite a bit for doing this or that, usually all of them good deeds that helped the poor or provided for the needy...but it was also well known that he wasn't married, not any longer, nor, by the press's account, did he have any children, which might have cast some discord over Alex's belief regarding Lucas' story, but, still, she could not deny the familarity. The boxer nodded towards Nick, offering a slight half smile in the boy's direction before returning his eyes to the she-wolf before him, asking quietly, "May we go inside? It's exposed out here, and there's no telling where my father's minions might be hiding. I'd prefer we give them as little clues as possible if it's all the same to you." As they headed towards the house, Lucas tried to relax, though he could not fully do so - not only did he sense something was about to happen, or at least, he had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach, the nervous tension of everyone in the house was beginning to get to him. Seeing as he was a sensitive type, Lucas was prone to picking up on the ailments of others, even sometimes going so far as to be able to determine their emotions, though he wasn't sure yet just what this power might be, or to what obscure road it might lead. In truth, unlike the majority of his family, he was a sensory type: his seer abilities were faint, almost nonexistent, as all he got were vague notions, and he didn't hold the telekinesis, but his power of empath came in all to handy, aiding him in both reading situations and responding in a timely manner. And so it was with a friendly smile and a jovial, "Hey, little man, how's it going?" that he greeted Nick, recognizing the boy upon closer inspection from his many trips to the hospital for the Make a Wish Foundation, just a small part of the charity work he devoted most of his spare and free time to. A nod of greeting was how he addressed Leon, Elza, and Peter, offering his hand to each of them in turn as they approached, introducing himself with a firm handshake and a polite utterance, resisting the urge to turn fidgety with all the apprehension. Sometimes his ability proved more of a hinderance than an aid.

Alex blinked slowly and growled some" Cothern as in Senator Cothern? "she said calmly and tought about it. She shook her head and walked in after them. She twithced her tail and glanced up at Shia. Shia nodded and stayed outside. She layed down on the roof and looked out at the city. Nick grinned remembering when Lucas from the visits he would do to the hospital. he ran up to him and hugged him" I'm ok better now and I'll be great soon "he said cheerful. Alex noticed how her brother seemed relaxed around the man and remembered Nick telling her about how Lucas would visit him in the hosptial when he was in there. Alex smiled and shifted into her human form glad that she didnt' rip another pair of clothes this time. She glanced over" So you came here for a lead to find your father and sister? "She asked calmly" That man was the senator? I may say he is no senator of mine with this behavior "she said calmly. Peter nodded and interduced himself he was a well known detective and was actually named the best detective and cop in the whole city.

Leon followed them inside and noticed how Elza hadnt put down the shotgun since she grabbed it earlier and knew it was the one she used to have in the incident "Go ahead keep it. been wondering where you were so i could have gave it to you earlier." Elza seemed a but surprised then a bit embarrased she was holding on to the weapon like her life depended on it. she slung it over her back "Thanks." She offered a smile before they both walked over to Lucas. Leon spoke first out of the two " Names Leon Kennedy, I was told Sen. Cothern didnt have any children ahd hadnt even been married before.. Your telling us that he kept it a secret? Why?" Leon asks wanting to find out some info, he had also notified Lucas he too was an officer but something stuck out. Perhaps Lucas could have read about the rookie cop that rescued some civilians from raccon city when the dead walked the streets in the papers. Elza sat down on the couch "Im Elza, I guess I might as well jump in this mess with all of you anyway seems like you all need the help." She offered a smile. Leon had walked to the kitchen then back out with some drinks for everyone finding it sort of rude if he wasnt a good host to everyone while they were here, sodas water and fruit punch was all he had. He sat down next to Alex whenever she had sat down. Inwardly Leon was hopeing Nick didnt reveal their plan to turn him. (he totally should xD)

Alex sat down next to Leon and leaned back. Her tail twitching ever so slightly. Peter smiled at the boy and shrugged" I'm Peter Quin.... "he said smoothly" I transfered here with my friend from chicago.... which reminds me... I should properly be getting back to them soon. I kinda left them with a frozen car and a vampire in the back seat.. plus both of them had just stopped fighting about the situation and well some issues rose up. "he said softly and chuckled" Bad first day..... Really bad first day. well for her mostly." he said looking like oh boy I hope everything is still alright there look on his face. He glanced at Elza and gave a gentle smile" wanna come along? "he asked gently.

He opened the door of the patrol car and glanced over" oh... it's been a long day already.... My friend grabbed my car and drove in a police chase after this one killer vampire and well ended up crashing it.... So I don't have my car... but nether does she or her partner. both cars were wrecked. which really sticks "he said gently and gave a smile half hearted smile. He was a nice guy but anyone could tell he was a pretty heavy smoker.

"That's great, I'm glad you're doing better," Lucas responded to Nick warmly, seeming almost like an elder brother to the child, returning the hug as the youth wrapped his scrawny arms about him, tactfully guiding the little one over to the couch as the others moved that way as well, repeating his own name, though the surname, his last one, Cothern, sounded hollow and dead, almost as if he didn't wish to claim it. And truth be told, if he could have changed it, he would have, he had no desire to remain a Cothern, as the title carried an immense amount of hate and despicable knowledge with it. Something he saw here that he had no choice but to share, if he were to earn these peoples' trust. "Unfortunately," he responded to the blond female, Alex, he believed her name was, when she asked about the senator's status as his father. A snort of slight amusement escaped him as she declared such, nodding his agreement, seeming a bit quieter now, almost as if he were...shy? And apprehensive about how well these people would take him, and just how much of his story he would believe. He managed to offer a smile of greeting to each in turn as they all gave him their names as well, however, telling himself he would deal with one thing at a time, and nothing a moment sooner, blinking as both Peter and Elza left, surprised by the commotion that had apparently gone on tonight, and the fact that there was so much plaguing their police force. He'd had no idea things were so busy, or he might have held off until it was a bit calmer before his approach. No wonder they had been so worried about him and so high strung about his arrival. Still, he sat quietly for the time being, waiting until things had settled before he got into the details. Leon's questions were answered first, as they were presented beforehand, the young male tilting his head with a mere flick of the ears as he explained, "It's true that the Senator is listed with having no children, but the public records do show evidence of his divorce from my mother, his ex-wife. She left when I was young; in fact, I barely remember her. My father kept my existence secret because inside, he is a very sick, very dark man, and if what he did to me...to my mother...ever came out into public, it would ruin his career and strip him of his power. That's what he's mainly after and concerned with - he prefers to have control over everything and everyone, in as absolute a manner as he can get." The boy switched from answering the cop's line of fire to Alex's with little trouble, fielding the scene smoothly due to his career, he had to at least be able to put on a strong and steady front, if nothing else. He could be shaking inside like a leaf for all his audience cared, so long as he didn't give into it, and they got their monies worth, they were happy. It was a tactic he employed now - though he didn't wish to be doing this, though he wanted this entire thing to be over before it began, that was no longer an option, and he was here now. Might as well make it worth it. He shook his head in response to the last bit of Alex's words, murmuring quietly in that sweet and husky voice of his, a voice that sounded just country enough to lend credence to the sweet, shy, boy from the outdoors all but whispering, "Not for a lead - I came to warn you after I saw the news event. Richard told me he expressed interest in you, and that, I can assure you, is never good. Never. In fact, if you can, I recommend you run for the hills, because you don't want to be taken by this man." He shivered, as if remembering something during his long years of captivity in that vile thing his sire had called a basement, though he was jerked from this as Alex mentioned a sister, puzzled bewilderment entering his gaze as he cocked his head to the other side in a rather cute and endearing manner, clearly confused by such a notion. "I don't have a sister." And to the best of his knowledge, it was true, he wasn't related to any siblings. But he hadn't seen what Alex had, and never had the privlege of making the acquaintance of this supposed sister, a sibling whose relationship with Lucas himself was nonexistent. For they had been kept separate, and in sound proof containers that effectively shielded the cries of one from the other, and then there was the fact that Lucas had never dared leave the basement until the day he had decided to escape, so he hadn't run into Leah that way, either. As far as he knew, as far as he was momentarily concerned, she didn't even exist.

Leon sat down next to alex listening to Lucas speak about his father. "The senator attacked the club Alex works at. When i got there she told me what happened. He and another male were after a female girl. No one got her name. She and another male escaped somewhere. We cant find where they went but they couldnt have gone far. The guy she was with took a bullet for her and she wasnt able to really walk when she walked in so she must be running on empty. The senator is probably at his office or house... How bad are we talking here?" Leon asks wanting to know what he was dealing with. He had encountered corrupt police cheif Brian Irons during the outbreak in his old city. He wanted to know if Senator's dark tendancys topped what the cheif did. "You may want to look in to who they are. It seemed your father had more interest in them then Alex as they went after them first. Shes probably still with the other male as well as they got out together but we cant be sure who the other male is or what his motive for helping her is either... If you dont mind me asking... What did he do ti you? I can tell something horrible happened between you and him.. You dont have to put on a hard shell for us just tell us what your comfortable with okay?" Leon kept his tone softer yet profrssional. Letting Lucas know he didnt have to answer if he didnt want to

Nick stayed next to Lucas and hugging him. Alex blinked slowly and swallowed. Hearing about how bad the senator was kinda shock her some. Alex sighed and rubbed her head. at Leon's question she glanced at him before looking at Lucas. she noticed to that the young man seemed nervous about the subject and uneasy about talking about it. She gave a faint smile" you can tell us I promise what ever you say will be safe with us "she said gently" and if the Senator is as bad as you say... he needs to be dealt with... Needs to be taken out of the office "she said smoothly. Her hair started to turn like a metalic silver.

Lucas blinked, quietly processing as Leon explained what all had happened, intermixing his questions within the retelling of events, nodding here and there a couple of times. His hands were clasped together, and he'd brought them up to rest in front of his chin, a nervous habit he'd picked up as a kid, wrought no doubt from his time chained up in the basement, though the others didn't know that...not yet. "As far as I know I'm an only child, so I have no clue what my father wanted with her, or what her ties are to him. But I got away in my early teens...I...didn't look back." Which to both Leon and Alex, meant that anything could have happened in that particular time period, and then there was the fact that while Lucas might not intentionaly lie to them, it was possible he had been kept in the dark upon this sibling's existence for the mere fact his father saw no good reason to share it with him - after all, keeping the two pups apart would have made them weaker, more vulnerable. Easier to control. These thoughts and more would have been what was going through Leon's head, at least, and quite possibly Alex's, as the female wasn't stupid, nor was she oblivious to the reasons and motives behind such differing circumstances and such horrendous things. Lucas' voice is soft as he continues, as if each subsequent word is a challenge, "The only reason I'm alive today is because I took up boxing and made a name for myself while keeping his name out of it - if it weren't for that, he'd have me killed a long time ago." There was another pause, another shudder, as if Lucas could almost feel the wretched sting of the memories, and the elder teen and young adult was glad, and immensely grateful, for Nick's unwavering support, offering the kid a soft smile of genuine compassion as he glanced at him before taking a breath, shaking it off, and plunging on with the story. "The man with him was Edward, one of his close friends and an occasional goon - he's got tons of similar guys on his payroll, though I'm surprised he brought Ed, as he prefers to be called, along. He's usually pretty strict: he doesn't get involved unless it's something he wants or there's something in it for him." That was all the basic information that Lucas had and could offer, besides what his sire had done to him during those long hours he had been chained and locked in the basement. Something he didn't want to share, but something these people needed to know if there was to be trust. If they were to understand just how bad this was. The fact that Alex's hair was turning a metallic silver was lost on him as he took a breath and blew it softly past his lips, working up his nerve and courage, never really uttering a bark or laugh of harsh embitterment. There was a reason his father was like this, and Lucas knew that, even if he weren't sure of the reason itself. And so he told it like it was, plainly, without glossing over pertinent details, but without going into great lengths regarding his story either. It was similar to Leah's - Lucas had been kept locked in the basement ever since he could remember, with thick chain so heavy he could barely move, and daily beatings that grew worse as the Senator's sobriety flew increasingly into the wind. It was worse when he was outright drunk, and once, he had killed Lucas at the tender age of six just for the fun of it, though he claimed it was to teach him a lesson, Lucas knew better, even if he had not dared call his father out on it. Whenever there was a particularly bad or rough day at work, he took it out on his son, or when he just needed something he could use for a punching bag? Lucas was conviently located, and no one ever knew, because according to most records, Lucas never existed. He wasn't even sure he had a legal birth certificate. Lucas also told of the time when he was only ten, the time he had finally stood up to his sire....it had been a mistake. The elder man had killed him that very day with the most brutal beating Lucas had ever experienced, and after that, it was when he had decided he would escape. And so at the tender age of thirteen, Lucas was out and about, alone in this world and on the streets, but at least he had been free. But he still wasn't finished, oh no, for at the end, the young male stood up, gently chiding Nick to remain on the couch, he wasn't leaving just yet, and proceeded to pull off not only his coat, but the black fabric of his sweatshirt as well, turning so that his bare back was displayed before them, revealing the hideous and numerous scars that angled across the otherwise pale and smoothly uncut surface of his succulent skin.
